Auburn's biggest weakness on defense is stopping the run. Which is exactly what Tennessee will do all game. Tennessee is the play here, as much as I hate to side with Crompton. This is a classic "gimme" line from vegas, and we all know how those turn out. John Q public will be all over Auburn come Saturday and I will be sitting safely on the other side.

As funny as this may sound to all you tennessee backers, Tennessee hasn't seen an offense like this, Florida played so vanilla because they new tenn. offense was so bad. We want have any mercy, we show their defenses weakness with misdirection and our defense is numbers are inflated because we have given up mop up touchdowns in the fourth quarter against la. tech, miss. st. and ball st., when has Auburn ever had a bad D. Wrong team favored, Auburn's last trip to Knoxville 34-10, I look for something very similiar!

This is my fairly basic analysis of the upcoming game..To all those who say Auburn has played nobody.....Is West Virginia nobody? I mean they are favored by 16 tonight...and Auburn is their only loss....And what about Mississippi State? They rolled vanderbilt like crazy, and while thats not much of an achievement, they were 4 inches away from beating number 4 LSU. Also, I would be willing to bet that no one here who says auburns D is "bad" watched ANY of their games. Auburn's second string defense was in the second half of EVERY GAME except the WVU game. Auburn's D does need some improvement, but they are by no means bad. Yes we gave up 30 points to ball state, but the 1st string gave up only 17 to them, and 7 of those were off of a special teams blunder that set up ball state on the 18. Just throwin it out there, but Tennessee kinda squeaked by OHIO and allowed them 24 points....but i dont know if they were subbing (comments on that please if you have them). In 2004 we went into this same game as a 1.5 dog in Knoxville against a Tennessee team that was allowing 20 points per game....won it 34-10. Now in 2009 we are going in as about a 2 point dog into knoxville against a tennessee team that is allowing 18 points per game, only this time our offense is tied with florida's for being the best in the country. Tennessee's D is busted up and missing their MLB, while Auburns D is rested up cuz they only played half a game last saturday. Tennessee's O was basically born busted, (except for their one RB who is freakin amazing) and Auburns O is on a record setting pace. I wish i could say that i am unbiased but, i am an Auburn fan, and because of that would love to hear someones actual analysis on why Tennessee wins this. Unless Im missing something crazy, Auburn wins this one. War Eagle!

Well, I've got two female freinds who 'rolled' me last year at Auburn when they won. They told me I can return the bet if UT wins this year. That's why.
Nice write up though. Im still going with my vols small.

Cropton will either fumble or pass it to Auburns CB to make sure they lose this game. Cropton is the worst QB that has came thru this college ever. I would rather have Dan Hawkins!!!!!!!!!
Crapton just remember after one TO he likes to make sure he get 2 more to go with it!! 1+2=3

If WV didn't turn the ball over. WV QB is alot getter than our QB. Our coaches, defense, and rb are better than Auburn. But when a QB throws more TD picks that TD's its hard to win just remember i said it. I hope UT wins, i am stayin away from this game. I am taking the under

I can see AU offense and TN defense basically dueling to standoff. But TN offense will find a way to help AU defense score or deliver excellent field position to Tigers offense. That should provide AUB with a close win. I think there is more pressure on Vols to win this; Auburn should come in lose and with a little confidence. I have to take points or no play. GL to those who do play it.
