Nah there were too many variables in this one. Wasn’t sure what to expect from Iowa with the QB change and this travel given Ferentz never has these guys west coast ready in his few trips. Gonna be one of those picky weeks I think

Rest of the card is kind of small this week... really don't like much and not going to force anything. As far as the B1G goes the 2 teams I like most by the numbers have cross country travel so going to be picky with it and not just blindly go with the numbers although I'lll share what I've got and if you decide you have good reason to play it then go ahead...
B1G plays:
Maryland +24.5
Other plays:
Georgia ML
ASU/UCF over 56
Duke +3
B1G thoughts today. My numbers have Indiana covering easily but was really close to playing Michigan today... it would be a complete fade of Indiana's competition to date. I just don't have the confidence in Michigans OC to call a simple game plan. If there was someone competent managing this offense I think they could be right in this with a shot at a big upset. They've just not proven that at all this season so can't bet actual money on these guys. Other games today and including the noon ones for reference. Reminder these are just the raw numbers based on yardage - I don't take into account things difficult to expect such as TO's. Also doesn't consider home field, situational spots, history, new injuries, etc... Goal is to help find some value on the number and see if those additional factors work for or against that number.
OSU by 46.7 over Purdue
Minnesota by 6.5 over Rutgers
Indiana by 25 over Michigan
Oregon by 17 over Maryland
Penn St by 4 over Washington (This is the one other game I was thinking of adding with Washington... what's keeping me off is Washington's travel schedule has been insane this past month+. They've shown they can't do the travel thing. Now going to the toughest environment in football imo the PSU white out. I think that's worth a TD in itself.
I think that's all of them. Crappy card in the B1G this week.... might do a small hunch play on Michigan +14.5 but can't recommend that to anyone based on the above. I STILL think Indianas getting popped somewhere and I know this makes no sense for it to happen now but stranger things happen

Another complete abomination from the Michigan coaching staff but they covered at least. This staff has coached them to so many L’s this year.
anyway one more add….
LSU +3

@HockeyNight11
You were bang on that Michigan would hang around in this game. I am surprised at how bad the coaching has been for them?

Should have won the damn game. They have 2 coordinators who don’t fit, specifically the OC. They constantly go for negative plays on first down. They keep trying to force feed Edwards as RB1. They constantly bring in Orji on the most obvious QB run situations you could ever imagine.
Davis Warren has been serviceable but can’t hit open receivers to keep drives going. They just don’t play to players strengths for whatever reason. Too many silly decisions to win football games week to week.
Super frustrating to watch them this year but in Moores defense he had a ton to replace on staff in a short amount of time. Hard to do. Will probably be a lot of turnover again this offseason and more opportunities to address needs in the portal.

@HockeyNight11
I agree 100% especially being so predictable on their offensive calls, it is very frustrating.
I kind of thought this might be a rough year for them losing so many players. To be honest though I am still on a high from them winning it all last year and will be for quite sometime.

agreed. Mission accomplished but it’s just frustrating to watch all the stupid sh*t they do week to week.
Weren’t flashy, but were a fundamental power house under Harbaugh and that is completely demolished this season.
