Step 1:  i said the correct line on the game should be Boise (-21)... see post #2

Step 2:  Laroja called me a dumbass, and said gambling isn't for me...

Step 3:  Boise wins by 22 points (instead of the 32-35 as suggested by the spread)... thanks largely to the single most flukey Hail Mary you have ever seen in your life, on the last play of the first half

Step 4:  despite the fact that i pegged the game perfectly, even down to the halftime spread... despite the fact Wyoming covered by almost 2 TDs... despite the fact that i called correctly put the correct spread within 1 point of the final score... and despite the fact that Laroja got on his high horse and talked shit when i DID give him the correct analysis of the game...


...this scumbag has the nerve to talk shit about me being wrong by 1 point... and of course, box THAT HE IS... doesn't show his face on that thread again...

Lol you need angry management. I like how you comment on the flukey touchdown. Perhaps I can say that Boise didn't play very well, but I don't. The reality is Boise State doesn't cover the spread but covers your 21. And yea I'm wrong about the 1st half, boohoo. Cry yourself a river.

there is no need to talk shit after a game you win, when you need such an enormous amount of good fortune to win it... claiming this game was the best bet on the board (AFTER THE FACT), is absurd!

It's pretty easy t call the teams that covered by more points than Alabama AFTER THE GAMES ARE OVER isn't it???

The team that was lucky was the team that had 7 first downs yet scored 14 points when they should have scored zero.

I max bet the game, and cashed huge.  Whether Alabama covered by a half of a point or a hunderd points, it all pays the same.

I only max bet one game all season, and it was the Alabama/Auburn game.  I've been waiting to load up on this game all season.  As you know, Saban is not the kind of coach that usually runs up the score on oppponents, but with what happened last season, and the bowl situation such as it was, I knew Saban would make sure he covered the spread in this game.  That's why I made the biggest bet of my life on this game.  Your point is well taken, but for me Alabama was about as sure of a bet as there was on the board this week.

In hindsight I think there were three other plays on the board that I think were pretty much locks -  Western Kentucky (which was one of my "Best Bets," Wyoming which I had at +35, and Vandy who was fighting to become bowl eligible.

With this being Thanksgiving week I didn't have as much time as usual to cap games, but still I have no clue how that Vandy game didn't just stick out like a sore thumb to me.  That was a gigantic game for them!!!  I can't belive I didn't cash in on that one.

there have been a few people this week talking about how great of a play Alabama is this week, and i was a loud opponent of it... and while it pisses me off that Auburn blew my bet (just as much as i get pissed any time i lose a bet)... it pisses me off much more to see these people still claiming it was a great bet...

it was really directed at you less than anybody else...

but i will say this, and it's all i will say... and i know for a fact it is true for everybody (with the only possible exception being Jimmy, because he is crazy!)...

i had Auburn (+21.5), for the record... at the start of the 4th quarter, if you had Bama (-21 or -21.5), and you had the chance to cancel your bet free of charge, EVERY SINGLE ONE of you backing Bama would have done it without blinking an eye... and if you deny it, i would not believe you for one second!

i bet a lot of favorites, especially early in the year... and i know as much as anybody... when you bet a heavy road favorite (17+), and you enter the 4th quarter without having covered the spread for 1 minute of the game... you made a bad bet, and you are gonna be lucky to win it!

anybody who's been doing this a long time and bets a lot of favorites knows this, too...

i hate the lack of integrity people have on this site... people like Laroja are literally the bottom of the barrel... so when i see that piece of shit opening his mouth all of a sudden, after talking all the shit he did about the Boise game and then going silent all day... that PISSES ME OFF!
