The expanded playoff will help…but you have to let it work for 5-10 years…more teams will play for title then bama, uga, Ohio st will come down to earth…it will start looking more like it did in 80’s and 90’s when 20-25 teams can vie for a playoff spot most years instead of 3-5…when other schools can promise big games and playoff games to recruits then they won’t all go to the same handful of schools…give it time
UGA is not bulletproof the way people think they are from playing a woefully soft Oregon team.. Their defense was definitely letting oregon move the ball a lot more than they let teams move last year and that was with Nix at QB, he just kept turning it over once they got into striking distance a lot. UGA is really good and talented, but they are not on Bama's level this year like last year.
If Dabo changes qbs I think Clemson is in conversation, the freshman is faster then dj and has a rifle of an arm. Not sure he will but Clemson has tools to compete w big boys. Bama and uga are best, throw in A&M, osu, Clemson maybe a dark horse like Baylor or usc, I would include Arkansas in convo also but with uga bama and A&M the top of sec don’t see them escaping with only 1 or 2 losses
I agree Beermugs. GA and Bama are both better than Ohio St. I am a Buckeye fan but I am not impressed with Bucks. ND is average at best, after 1,2 the rest of the ranked teams could be put in a blender. If Bama played ND they would have won 49-0. I don’t even think Kirby is a great coach, like he said they have better players! Oregon isn’t very good either. Rankings mean nothing!

Love how UGA was on upset alert from every corner of the sport to now Oregon was clearly massively overrated. This entire forum was riding with Oregon and the points. 
Brand new coaches and schemes, but Oregon has the 7th most talented roster in terms of players. Yes, the Ducks moved the ball early in the game but then it got shut down as the all the youth on UGA's side got their feet wet. No team is bullet proof, Bama's OL, OSU's offense in general, Clemson's offense, etc... all showed kinks in the armor.
