bro, BAMA is built to stop an offense like LSU, that is what they are good at, it wouldn't shock me if Henry outgains Fournette in this one, Henry is a nice back and is probably tired of hearing about how good LF is (both are really good players)
the spread just seems a touch high, Bama needs a fast start & you may be ok
I'm actually looking forward to the game to be 100% honest, I've seen Bama twice this year and haven't been impressed whatsoever, maybe this game will leave a different impression on me
Thanks man.. Yeah those announcers are garbage. But the worst one ever is the small black guy that does Pac12 late night games.. That dude is terrible.. Rod something??
I agree Bama needs to start quick. 2 things that I like that made me bet.. 1) Bamas defense vs LSU offense, I like our corners in man coverage vs the WR and QB.. Harris has not thrown a pick yet, but he has not seen a defense this fast and confusing.. You can never prepare a QB for what Nick Saban is gonna do.. And the crowd is gonna be insane.. If they get down 10, and Fournette is not getting them to 3rd and 2-3-4.. Harris is gonna have to make big plays. The passes I've seen him throw the last few weeks are what I wanna see tomorrow, cause I like our chances in picking em off.. I also think Les will be very stubborn running and have to punt more than usual..
2) Bama pass game vs LSU defense.. Haha, I know that sounds stupid, but the LSU defense is not what it was under Chavis, and they have been giving up some unnecessary yards this year.. Kiffin will have planned roll outs for Coker on run / pass options and I think Bama will throw a lot more than folks think, a lot more!! Saban knows it's critical to get out to a quick lead, so I expect to see Drake in more of a WR role running some streaks outta the back field vs a LB.. Coker is the biggest problem.. He will sling that SOB into coverage every game.. But he usually plays better after he throws a pick, so I like the fact that he doesn't get rattled after throwing picks.. I think Bama throws a lot to open the run up.. If Bama has a 10-14pt lead in the late 3rd or early 4th.. Henry will toat the rock 30 straight times and Bama will wear out that DL for LSU...
Fact is, I see LSU playing conservative and Bama playing up tempo and fast.. The only games Bama has lost to LSU is when Saban refused to let his QB get after it.. I think he's learned his lesson and feels like he can afford a few mistakes being at home..
27-13 Bama
