For Boston College it all comes down to motivation. If they want to be there, they will do just fine. they lost against FSU by 2….in a motivated spot. They can play ball
That was 3 months ago. 1.5 months ago they barely squeaked by UConn and Syracuse. Also, I'm only seeing 9-10 MPH for wind, which shouldn't affect the passing game too much. I wish you luck on your play, but I'm on the other side, I just don't think BC is that good.

I dont' think there is anything "stupid" about the angle here. I have a pretty sizable position on the UNDER b/c I do expect SMU will not be in the mood to drop their avg of 40 points on BC mostly b/c they will not be MOTIVATED. I mean SMU averages almost as many points as the TOTAL?!? Doesn't that say what the oddsmakers are thinking?
BC loves to run, it is windy and cold and the dimensions of Fenway aren't really football friendly. Regardless, win or lose, the play is warranted if only in a bowl. Otherwise I think most of us WOULD be backing SMU and/or the OVER.

I think the rain will actually help the over why because i believe BC was going to run even in good weather so their game plan doesn't change as for SMU they can run the ball as good as anyone throw in a few passes here and there and i think we hit around 50pts something like 31-20 i see a lot of going for it on 4th down even when there in field goal range because of the weather
