Best Saturday 3 team tease

Long time follower, First time poster.

Help me out guys.  What is your best 3 team, 10 pt tease?

I'm looking at the following: 

3:30 Clem -2.5

7 OK -.5

7 LSU +.5

10 Stan +3

Which three are the best?  Is there another game I should look at?  Any input appreciated.

I can consider myself a better than average teaser player.....honestly I don't like any of them.

also...I like 4 teamers if you can get the 13 pt advantage.......it crosses so many key numbers unlike the 10 pt teaser.

Examples:

Miami U at home against Geo Tech:  -4.5

in a 10 pt teaser that is 5.5
in a 13 pt teaser that is +8.5

Ohio state on the road against N western: -5.5

In a 10 pt teaser : +4.5
in a 13 pt teaser : +7.5


(When the line came out) Oregon at colorado : -31.5

in a 10 pt teaser: -21.5
in a 13 pt teaser: -18.5

One number you really want to take a look at is the over in both the Ohio state game and Nebraska game.

in a teaser I can't see either one losing, 10 pt or 13 pt.

Thanks I appreciate the info.  I hated picking three teams from 3PM through midnight, but liked the top 10 teams favored by less than 10 to cover.  I'll look more into the 4th team scenario to get the 3 pts

all i do is tease and win...here are my rules, that work.

tease the dogs..
NO totals, seriuously, its risky, and bad luck...
Dont try to tease a 10 pt fave, bad luck...
its ok to tease a 7 pt fave to a 3pt dog..

now ur good.

I normally have teasers set by time.

NOON bracket
3pm bracket
7pm
10 pm

Then I pick the strongest play at that time slot unless there is an 'anchor' team which I think will cover 99.99% of the time then I throw it in all of them.

looking at the slate now for example......two stick out like a sore thumb:

#1) OVER Nebraska
#2) UNDER Central Mich


It takes an act of god for me to take an under in college football.  Last two unders I took were under in colts game sunday and last week the under in the BYU game.

Central mich vs Miami (ohio):  You have the 119th offense in the country in Ohio and 104th offense in Cent mich.  You can tease the 48 to 60.5 in a teaser of 13 pts.

C mich has scored: 9, 21, 21, 17, 14.
Miami O has scored: 14, 7, 0, 14.

Can't see that getting to 60 pts

those totals are at noon/1pm group....not the best picks of the day.

Damn this is turning out to be worse than just a 50/50 gamble on a team bet.  Too many chances for 1 team to screw the pooch on this, and adding the 4th team just decreases the odds of winning.  May tread this very lightly this week.

for the 3:30 I'm liking:

Min+30.5 / Rice +13/ Clem -2.5

I know I didn't follow some of you rules, but I really think this hits.  Rice is my least favorite play in this scenario

This is what that Clemson - Syr game reminds me of.

I remember people were teasing +9.5 lou and thought it was a huge lock.....Bridgewater throws for 400+ yards and they still lose by 3 TDs.

that game scares me is what I am saying.

at 3:30pm I rather have Miami U +7.5 against a suspect Georgia Tech D and a horrible QB.

Young...I like the Stanford and Oklahoma picks. But both Clemson and LSU could be in tough spots. They should cover the teaser spread but feel those are the 2 that could screw you.

Agreed....I also think your strongest play is Oklahoma.

Why?

Stanford lets teams hang around......I can see them winning by 3 late and a push is a loss by .5 pt.

I can't see Oklahoma letting TCU hang around....especially if they play like they did in the 1st half against SMU.

i took Atlanta falcon +3.5, LSU +2.5, FLA +1.5 and Clemson -.5 in a 4 team 12 pointer.

Whats up youngb69 first time postin so take this advice for what it is.  Especially since ive gotten toasted the last 2 weeks.  Although my teasers r the only thing keepin floating.  Dont overthink it.  Your 1st post had 4 ranked good teams playing inferior opponents and all they have to do is basically win. I would prob drop OK and make it a 3 game teaser.  I dont think TCU is dead yet and OK isnt as strong as the other 3 teams you had listed.

Thanks for the input.  I am down to OK and Stanford now, and will continue to search for that elusive 3rd leg of my tease.

In a 10 pt teaser:

Illinois 4-0 on over
Nebraska 4-0 on over

Illinois has given up 34 pts twice.
Nebraska has given up 34 pts twice.

In a teaser I can't see this staying under 50.

Pix - that is some very good knowledge by you on the overs there.

I think if you can get Miami in your teaser you should as well as the overs listed above.

Illinois is the 91st ranked D in college.......20th passing attack on O.

Nebraska is 105th against the pass and 21st on overall offense rolling up 500+ per contest.

Unlike Illinois Neb hasn't played a REAL cupcake.....Neb hasn't played Miami Ohio or Southern Illinois......so if they have that porous of a Def against those two horrible horrible teams factored in......how many is Neb going to hang on them?

Neb really showed a killer instinct last game.  I had Neb and the over in my teasers against S dak state (keep in mind neb had a bye last week).

Neb was TRAILING sdak state 17-14 after one Q.  I was livid.  I couldn't believe I backed these clowns again and they were letting them just march down the field.  S dakota state had almost 500 yards offense in the game......then I saw Neb go to the next level....they played D, got after the QB (Dak had it deep in Neb territory a few times with the game outcome still not determined).

They outscored them 45-3 the rest of the game and ran the ball down their throat to the tune of 650 yards Off.

They will come out like gang busters on saturday.

Pix - be careful though I read Taylor Martinez suffered a "turf toe" injury and is listed as questionable for the game on Saturday.

When Martinez is on the field though the Nebraska offense can start rolling at any time I think - need to watch him throughout the week

I think they are a better team without him personally.

They threw up 59 points without him against S dak state.

Neb QBs went 20 for 24 for 300 yards.

a non-running QB doesn't try and do too much and can lead a balance attack.

I like him not rushing the ball actually, he think he can do more than he can.....which is evident by his 32 rushes for 100 yards in 3 games.

He had 10 rushes for -13 yards and was 21 for 35 for 200 yards against the big UCLA game.  He couldn't move the offense to maintain the lead.

I don't care if they get someone out of the stands on saturday, this game will go over.
