All lines 5 dimes pick in Bold
Minnesota +22.5 @ Wisconsin
I'm not going spend a lot of time on any write ups if you are curious pm me. I have this game at Wisc 34-20. So best bet is to take the points.
Illinois @ Penn State -7.5
Have it at 28-14 state so laying looks good.Penn State O is subpar but D is good. Illinois O not good on road giving them 14 is generous. Illinois put everything they had into last weeks game now on road Penn State coming off loss. Easy winner
Indiana + 21.5 @ Ohio State
I got ohio state at 38-23 winners. Last week against Michigan let me tell you that Indiana is not that good. Michigan D is bad (and it is my team)And Indiana O is good. Ohio State is way better than last weeks showing, trust me. It is always a tough game for the buckeyes at Illinois. Indiana passing Offense though can put up a late td or two.
Michigan State @ Michigan - 4.5
Michigan is my team, I'm not being a homer I have thought hard about this game and have tried my best to take all emotions out of it. The line tells me that the professionals put it at almost a push on a neutral field maybe even favoring state a little. Have no idea why my thought is because of last week with state winning vs Wisconsin at home and Michigan playing close at Indiana. For one Michigan D is bad I admit, However Wisconsin is a little overrated and playing at State and losing did not surprise me as I picked state as a dog. I like Michigan by 2 scores 38-24. I know state has what like #20 rush D?..... Yea but have they played a D-Rob.....Especially on the road? NO......This is the hottest ticket in Michigan right now even more so than our unemployment rate. Not hot on laying points in a in-state rivalry at all, but truely feel that state QB will give us at least 2 opportunities to make a play. If we make one of them we should cover. Will be at this game go wolves.( such a homer)
Purdue @ NorthWestern -9.5
Hardest game of the week for me. First of all not really sure about either team. Purdue is coming off a bye wich hasn't happened since like 03. What I do know is their O is not typical Purdue O Their on like 2nd string everything. Playing on the road can not be good. I initially had N'western 27-20 looked into it a little more and it should be -5.5 but will lay a little extra at home one for the fact that N'western should have covered last week (only game I lost) I would like to have a play on the over/under but it seems like it is on mark. If I had to pick I would lay off this game because of the uncertain but that is not me(lol) N'Western has a better chance at home to cover than Purdue does. Nwestern might not be as good as their record but they are better than last weeks showing.I don't think Purdue can score enough.

I follow the Big 10 closely too and I like your picks. The one I am a little uncertain about is Michigan. I think Michigan St will put Robinson and company to the test. I expect a 3 point game either way. Robinson's first true test in the Big 10 against a very good defense.
I feel you are right on with Minnesota and Penn State. Indiana may be able to cover towards the end of the game, but really we are hoping for an 18 point OSU win there.
Purdue is not a very good team and this line shows us that Vegas expects Northwestern to put up a good showing against them at home.
GL with your plays

I have to disagree with you about Mi St. Their D is solid but the only 2 oppenents they played put up 31 and 24 against them both games at home. They should not have beat ND and if they didnt pull a fake fg from the tricks they would not even be ranked and nobody would be taking state at all

Your bias is showing-
But anyway, how do you figure they should not have beaten ND? They out gained them in yardage, but even taking your unsupported suggestion at face value, had they lost wouldn't they be even more of a value play against U-M. In fact, sharps would even be taking State even more.
How many people were talking about them last year in this slot.
1-3 MSU vs. 4-0 UM.
Do I have to remind you how that one turned out?
You sound much more like a homer than a serious capper, but GL anyway.

Trying not to show bias. Michigan State haas the best LB in the country and can run the hell out of the ball. They are a good team just dont like them in this spot and I have no problem going against Michigan. As a matter of fact right now I would take Iowa and Ohio State against U-M. I'm not on the heisman wagon with robinson and stay skeptical when it comes to U-M. Two things I dont do though......Look at last year and watch espn. Thanks for the reminder though.

If you are not trying to show bias then you should at least attempt to answer the two questions I posed-
1) How did MSU not deserve to have beaten ND? Despite out-gaining them? Did you see the game? or just want the fake FG? If you are going to make such a statement, don't you think you should be able to back it up?
2) Even if that did happen, how would that make them less desirable as a value play? Do you realize that sharps love to look for these type of match-ups?
Thanks and enjoy the game.

1.) I watched the game 2 times actually. To say state dominated ND is crazy. ND moved the ball with ease they opened the game scoring opened the 4th quarter scoring and overtime. All key times to come through with scores in a game. If ND did not have 3 tournovers this would have been a 10+ win for them. State had a run before halftime and opened the 3rd quarter with the momentum. ND with stood it on the road never the less. There was no domination on either teams part it was a good game. I feel ND had control throughout amd were the better team.
2.) I have never said there was not value in taking State. I dont really care about value or the sharps. Just stating who I beleive is going to win the game. The reason States rushing D's numbers look good is because they have been ahead and teams have been throwing against them. The problem is that their stud LB Jones is not very good laterally and will struggle to keep up with U-M speed. Is U-M going stop state when they are pounding the ball up the middle on us? Probably not but if we get on them early which we should with the edge at home and they are trying to play catch up then Cousins will make a mistake and turn it into a 2 score game in the 4th.

at first i was like everyone else and on mich state and thought they had a good shot of winning this. after careful consideration, kinda feel like vegas wants me to pick state here so i am leaning michigan now, mainly because of home field and once again denard robinson running wild. dont think denard will be stopped till iowa and ohio state beats the shit outta him.

Do you really promise? You so sweet. But honey, what happens if you break your promise? Will you pay me back for the amount of games you are under 75%.
Don't make any promises that don't rely on your own actions. You sound like an ass when you do that. Also, saying 'Trust Me" (see Indy/Oh St) is never good. Then you make a pick on a game you don't even like, NW/Purdue.
Picking 5 games per week means you can only miss 1 game and you're picking games you don't like. Nice try, but take a piece of humble pie and don't make promises. Making promises and saying 'trust me' is for ones who want/need attention. Just make your picks and state your analysis and let the picks do the talking.
If you're good, then people will benefit. If you're bad, then you won't look like an ass if you don't make any promises.
BTW, I like Indy quite a bit.

Sounds like a lot of back tracking & misdirection to me -- no one said anything about MSU 'domination.
However, you did say that if MSU lost to ND, no one would be taking State "at all". Just plain ignorant. It would be refreshing if you could admit such.
Capping is difficult enough w/o the emotional attachment that you obviously have. Lots of "feeling" (your words) in your analysis.
Good luck @ that 75% and again enjoy the game.

Robinson is a stud, there's no team in the Big Ten who can contain him. What's scary is, the kid can pass too. Rodriguez won't take the foot off the gas. Michigan by 2 scores - even with that bad defense of theirs.

You're a damn joke. Michigan winning? LOL. They have 0 defense. You really think Denard is going to continue what he's done? No, my friend. This isn't UMASS (won by 5), Notre Dame, UCONN, BGU, or Indy. Michigan State moneyline. Ohio State coming off rough week last week on road. They will come back home & kill a heart broken Indiana team. And Penn State doesn't beat anybody by two touchdowns.
My Bet: Three Team Teaser
Illinois +14.5 Ohio State -15 Michigan State +11
500 to win 800

There is a reason why it is called a teaser bet........To tease you right out of your money. Good Luck Hope You Cash It.....Not a bad one but Illinois might not score more than 7 points, and don't sleep on Indiana scoring points even if they are in garbage time. Not pumping up Denard I fully agree that you have to prove yourself for a little while. However sometimes it is what it is....The kid has talent Yes I do expect him to have around 400 total yards and 3 scores. Have no reason not to beleive that....He will be slowed at somepoint but that might be at Ohio State....Only team in the Big Ten that has the team speed to keep up with him on every down

GL with your plays. Not sure I agree with many of them, especially Indiana, but I wanted to comment on the Robinson being stopped factor. I hope Michigan wins by 40 this week because you will see the first Big Ten team to stop him the following week. Iowa will rock Michigan next week.
