This past week was a grind and I was busy with family issues then going to the LSU game Saturday- I sold my Ole Miss tickets and will concentrate all week on my capping- hoping to step it back up this week-

I will be on Miss St as well... I'm liking LSU to pull the upset, but I would prefer to see if I can get 4 points... I think people will be betting Ol Miss...

Ole Miss is -3.5- I have watched every LSU game and their offense is putrid. They only have one WR and the QB situation is not good. They run up the gut on 90% of first down plays. The defense looked better this week but can anyone realistically tell me how LSU is going to score on the Ole Miss defense? I have season tickets and sold my Ole Miss tickets today as I wanted to sit at the house and have a full day of watching football, gambling, and drinking topped off by the game later that evening. I will be max betting this game. I am just unsure how much I want to really unload on this game-

Good luck! I think it will be a low-scoring game... it's not my favorite play on the board, but I do think your opinion is the opinion most people will have, and the books could have set a higher line if they wanted to...

Sorry guys- I have been busy with family matters this week- my daughter totaled her brand new car I bought her this past Christmas; luckily nobody was hurt- Anyway here are my official picks for this week.
Mississippi St. -14 2 units- The bye week came at a perfect time for Mississippi St. I see them covering this easily as the Kentucky defense will be on their heels all game long.
La. Tech -9 2 units Tech RB Kenneth Dixon should be able to go nuts tomorrow against a S. Miss defense thats gives up 5.6 yards per carry- he goes for 200 yds tomorrow
San Jose St. +9 1 unit The only concern I have here is the San Jose defense gives up lots of rushing yards but they have enough offense to cover this number
UAB +28 1 unit -120 I bought half a point on this one. I am like everyone else thinking UAB has enough offense to cover the number; Arky wil get theirs as well so maybe the over is worth a look
Alabama -16.5 2 units If Alabama keeps thumping the rest of their opponents they will be right back in the mix; they still play Miss St. and I think Saban won't get conservative in this one if they get a big lead; I also will be on the Vols team total under when it comes out
Ole Miss -3 10 units I almost never do huge plays like this but usually once a year I find a game to hammer and this is the one. I have seen lots of love for LSU this game and I just can not understand it. LSU has no passing game to speak of- word has it that Jennings will play the whole game and that just makes me feel that much better about my play. Harris could at least break some big plays, but with Jennings they are very vanilla. Are you telling me the best kick returner on the team is a 6' 1" 230 lb running back? I love Leonard Fornette but not as a kick returner. The Ole Miss defense should have no problems stacking the box and shutting the LSU run game down. LSU's defense is improving and may make it somewhat difficult for Ole Miss to keep going but I am seeing a 27-13 type game this week.
