I can't remember the last time I watched a game where one team got so thoroughly dominated in the trenches and still won the game. FIU got absolutely manhandled at the point of attack all night long. FUI's offense basically had zero chance of ever driving the length of the field and scoring, and thanks to multiple unforced errors by Toledo, they never had to.
FIU's 5 second half possessions began at TOL 19, 23, 37 & 41 which lead to 17 points they otherwise had no chance of scoring. Their GW field goal drive was their worst starting field position of the half, and that began essentially at mid-field. I think FIU had two offensive snaps on their end of the field the entire 2nd half.
To act like FIU was the better team, and that justice was somehow served by the GW FG at the end is patently absurd.
Anyone who bet FIU or the OVER tonight should be bowing down to the gambling Gods tonight, because those were two of the most fortuitious covers of the college football season.

Boom,
What are your thoughts on the GT/AF game tonight. Doesnt sound like Nesbitt will be playing and Tech has a few others missing first half due to discipline actions.
Sounds like Air Force may be missing a few key players as well
Would love to know what you think about the side and/or total..
Thanks and BOL

FIU didn't play awful, they played out of this world. They found a way to win a game wherein they got physically manhandled for 60 minutes. Granted that was only made possible because Toledo completely self-destructed, but they still found a way to win.
Remember I had FIU too.
