Bridge - what are your thoughts on Iowa/Penn State under 43?

Hit Troy at -3 but thought about it and played more -4 and that's the current line .. talk about a team that flip flopped from all offense no defense in the past few years .. they had a bit of a wtf game vs ULM and made some mistakes fumbling vs S.Carolina or that woulda been much closer .. did play liberty pretty close, defense is stout and G.Southern's defense is the kinda game we should see Troy offense get a chance to open up (assuming it didn't really disappear entirely .. 

Wyoming had their obligatory WTF moment vs UCONN the other week .. This is a huge rivalry and don't think we should discount Wyoming too much for a single non-con flop because just given their run heavy offense a big flop is bound to happen .. Think they're ready for this game and these teams look pretty even to me and Wyoming maybe even gets the nod on defense .. 

Pretty much playing any low 50's total with Texas State involved in it .. S.Bama showed off some of their new guns last week and they have some explosive playmakers at WR and Major Applewhite's systems should be kicking in now anyway .. should be a bit of offensive fortitude here and texas state can definitely assist with that especially their defense .. 

Mich game obvi adjusted pretty quick .. honestly don't think it matters much both these defenses are pretty stout and can't imagine the books thinking this is a tight game yet both are finding easy points here .. Would take Mich -3 also but off a big game and this wacky year idk think we've seen defenses really be consistent and both teams very capable getting stops and effecting some clock burning drives .. 

Think we all saw MD follow the typical MD pattern .. look good for a couple weeks then start majorly flopping .. I know OSU has their issues and injuries but I'll lay the 19 and xx my fingers .. MD's biggest playmaker Demus' awful injury is all the more reason to not just expect this to be one of those games Maryland finds enough big play offense .. I thought the Terp defense was a little better this year but man o man they got thrashed at home big in a game they prob thought they stood a chance ... raucous crowd vanished when they came out for H2 and just the look on Tua Jr's face and others said it all ...  total demoralizer .. kinda game you wonder if they can get back up from and be competitive as 20 point road dogs  ..

Giving Marshall another shot to avenge the ATS loss I took w Buff vs ODU 2 weeks back .. think Marsh will heed the warnings and keep the petal to the metal and they have the ponies to do just that .. ODU offense didn't show up vs UTEP like I thought they might and I ended with a squeeker win on that total ... 

Gotta take Penn State getting a couple points .. Iowa is real solid on D but last week was a total misnomer monster win vs MD and think Nitney offense is quite a bit stronger and this one's at least a pick'em .. this is a full on bridge play if we get to +3 or better ..

It doesn't leave a whole lotta wiggle room for unexpected points off turnovers, etc and Iowa has been unreal at converting those into points .. or some of those goal line stands we've seen these defenses make all of a sudden are not 'standing' this game .. also with a low score expected there's a real possibility of overtime .. I'd also say neither offense is bad or incapable, its just the D's have been very strong .. idk .. seems a few ways it could stumble over but they def putting it at this low number for a reason .. The forecast shows some possible wind for the plain state area for saturday .. I played an Iowa home total under a few years back w strong wind and it was a KILLER, Iowa beat MD 18-Zip .. unsure how strong it will be here but if the forecast holds up and it looks like it could be disruptive like 25mph+ then I might put something on the under or a team total under .. Obvi no prob with the UGA layin 9 here .. also super sour with Rutgers only +1.5 even though the line has inflated to 4.5's or more .. we'll see .. Survived Minn -3.5 last week that had a sour line by like 6 pts .. but did go bust twice on some good lines, Wisco-1/ND and W.KY+15.5/Mich st almost a TD of value going into each didn't pan out ...  the GOY's 6-3 overall so far and would say between the winning record and lead in value most have had its been worth while .. def glad to start getting my money back between those and the RSW's had a bit tied up .. - Good luck!

NC.State 50-1 .. well i def don't hate this one .. obvi not a sure thing but were past the 'impossible' part .. 

Pitt 10-1 for the division.. didn't post in pre-ssn thread but grabbed for the conf at some huge odds like 50-1 and 66-1 ... would be great to see Pitt and NC State face off, make up for the payday I didn't get for NU or Indy last year ..

MW gunna start shakin out here soon .. AF 35-1, Fres 20-1, SDSU 16-1 all lookin very much LIVE .. 

SMU 50-1 .. definitely a path opening up for the Ponies to make the champ game .. field less crowded w UCF loss to Navy and their QB situation .. Memphis tanking hard still a shot to nudge us out.. Houston really not a bad path either avoiding Cincy and get SMU / Memphis at home ...  SMU just got to keep winning and even taking a loss to Cincy down the stretch I think is not a bad thing if they can still lock up a 2nd shot at them 2 weeks later ..

UTAH 10-1 .. not dead but they need to get their act together .. besides ASU w couple division wins im not sure who we'd say is in a strong position in the PAC right now to make the champ game .. maybe Stan also?...

ASU Make Playoffs 18-1 .. Gunna be tough .. need to run the table and need some other teams to stub their toe w 2 losses .. will be very easy to forget PAC wins vs LSU and OSU by late November.. think they've been forgotten about already .. beating Stanford in a champ game will also not be helpful .. 

5 RSW's Looking good: ... SMU Over 6 .. going for 6 vs Navy this week ..  Old Dom Under 3.5 pretty much locked up w loss to UTEP .. Rut Over 4, 3 W's w Mich St, NU, Illinois, Indy, MD on the horizon .. W.KY Over 5.5, don't have the wins yet but I expected the wins to come down the stretch, like everything I'm seein so far. a UTSA W would makes things all the more extra comfortable .. Buff Under 8, bulls need to run the table to beat us w 9 W's ... feels pretty good .. 

2 RSW's up in the air:  ... VILLE U 6.5 needs a loss to UVA or I'll need them to really tank a couple games down the stretch .. its still a pretty tough slate ahead of them .. VTECH U 7.5 .. Loss to W.VA very helpful, they need to go 5-3 to beat us.. obvi an ND win very helpful but there's still no gimme games besides maybe duke down the stretch and 4 of last 5 on the road .. 

2 RSW's not lookin good .. UNLV Over 1.5 .. really needed that E.Wash win .. There's 3 reasonable shots at wins w Ut.St, NM and Haw but wouldn't say this looks up in the air .. Bama Under 11.5 .. man we came kinda close, wouldn't surprise me if we see a struggle in one more game but def seems unlikely at this point ..

I have peanuts on Bama / AM under 51 and that's about it .. BYU is only way I would play that one but layin 6 idk I'm lookin elsewhere .. I could prob get talked into the over or a team total but not familiar w all the injury situations .. good luck

Kent state hasn't really impressed in the tougher games and wouldn't say they have for the most part of their easier ones sans VMI .. Seems like they could win the game and maybe should but Buffalo proven to not be a dud so far and proven capable of collecting stats on D like TFL's and sacks while not giving up very many on offense .. I'll take points in the wacky Mac .. tempting to drop the ML in a UDML parlay as well. 

TEAM TOTALS

MARSHALL TT OVER 43.5 - just thinking Marsh has a large advantage on offense and if they get their hooks in it seems like a get right game after 3 straight losses without much let up .. ODU's defense has had a few moments namely after Buff took their foot off the gas in H2 of that one but think Herd give us 60 mins of action here. 

IOWA TT UNDER 21 - looks like the wind is gunna kick up and Iowa TT at that 21 spot .. could get there if they continue to get those easy points off turnovers but think likely they won't find it that easy in this one .. if not then think that 3rd TD is gunna be tough to find .. 

UTSA TT OVER 33.5 - Gunna trust UTSA will get the requisite number of possessions here and just trust a team that can pass and run vs a Hills D that's given up plenty of points so far . this game has shootout written all over it and wouldn't surprise anyone if RR's D can find a few stops and play from the lead in this game but if they're behind as the line suggests this one should move even faster... either way no lead is too safe to not keep scoring.

If not, I am looking at hard at this UNDER in the OLE Miss game right now.... 66.5 based on the question, will Ole Miss score more than 40 on Arkansas if Georgia could not?
