Agreed, if the kid was on my team he'd be running gassers first thing Monday morning in practice as he actually ran it 50 yards before going down. So much risk in a play like that when all you have to do is GET DOWN and win the ballgame.

im going to say its safe to say that more people have lost balls running than QBs losing a snap for a kneel down.......im sorry you lost your bet, but the kid did the right thing

well after running 50 yards the risk was gone cuz there was no one around him,

and to the people saying ive never put pads on hahahaha. my father played in nfl for 9 years and i played d1 football.

Honestly, are you that dumb? There is no chance of losing? Guys get stripped from behind all the time. He gets stripped from behind and loses the football Utah has the ball with time left on the clock.  As coaches we have to take intelligent looks at the game and not OMG IM A FAN WHAT I SAY GOES kind of thing.

i would bet 75% of players keep running there for td.  if he would have went down right when he made catch i would agree with u guys. but after breaking clear from everyone and having easy td u do not go down
