My initial lean on this game is Buff -6.5...however, they are a heavy ticket count and the line remains under 7....kinda fishy.
But, game is in Bahamas, focus should be an issue for both teams. Buffalo has had much more recent success/bowl experience, but this is the first time UNCC is bowl eligible (likely be some excitement there).
Buffalo is a running team which bodes well in windy conditions, and I see Charlotte ranked 99th vs run...almost 200 yds/game...
Bottom line, I have not seen one snap of UNCC this year. Anyone have any insight on that team?

Buffalo is definitely the better team in this matchup but both teams have played a very comparable Strength of Schedule. Charlotte is a threat with their Ground Attack and have the Clear Cut Advantage at Quarterback. Reynolds has a great QBR of 155.1 and has thrown 21 touchdowns as compared to 10 interceptions. He is also a legitimate threat on the ground rushing for 757 yards and 6 touchdowns this season. Buffalo seems to have difficulty with teams that have a running QB (Ability to extend plays). Case in point Kent State and Ohio (Crum and Rourke)....Both S/U Losses and remember, Buffalo was a -6.5 point favorite at Kent State. If Buffalo does stop Charlotte's running game, which is highly possible, they will have to contend with Charlotte's QB, whether it is on the ground or through the air. Buffalo on the other hand is more of a one-dimensional team....Run, Run, Run. I will always side with a more balanced team getting points and making their 1st Bowl Appearance. Public Money seems to be coming in on the Buffalo Bulls, which bodes well for Charlotte, so I think Charlotte +7.0 would be a safe bet. I see Buffalo winning by a field goal....Final Score 24-21....

My book has Buff at -6.5 and the team totals 30.5 and 22.5 ... 8 point diff... I'm guessing they're getting alot more tickets with Buff at -6.5 and totally good with that as they see the weather changing... I posted my thoughts in my thread / played under yesterday at 55.5 and charlotte TT under 24.5... and laying points in a windy storm on Buff is maybe a little risky .. weather could very well impact the scoreboard on special teams.. both teams are a total disaster on ST and you know one muffed punt, missed FG, etc and feels like that's your side bet either winning or up in smoke... good luck how ever you go with it.

Agree on the focus, both teams will be excited to see some warmer weather...
But the running game travels which is why I lean Buffalo here. You're not wrong about the line being fishy given what appears to be a heavy public backing of Buffalo. Might put it in a teaser.
GL with your play!

BULLS have a Monster 2 headed Running attack led by Jarret Patterson who just ripped off 11 TDS in 2 games
UB is 9th in the country at rushing , meanwhile the stout Defense is 4th overall at stopping the Run ...
Charlotte has a horrible time stopping the Run ( 97th overall )
The Bulls should be extremely thirsty for their first bowl win , and the Bahamas Bowl was exactly where parents and alums were begging for the Bulls to go on their tailgate page over 6 weeks ago ....
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

Seems like a match up nightmare for Charlotte

Patterson & Marks for the Bulls should run through the 49ers D in my opinion..big day coming on the ground for Buffalo...yes their QB is poop..not a fan at all of him but handing the ball off to these 2 should be more than enough for the Bulls to get into the endzone all day...both teams pumped to be in a bowl game...both finished the season strong...but the last game Char fumbled the ball 4 times vs Old D...if there's some wind & or rain could make for an interesting game to say the least...Bulls D coming hard for the 49ers QB...going to be a fun game to watch...
Buffalo 42
Charlotte 31

GED, I'm betting that 23 degrees is Celsius, not that uncomfortable. Wind will be a factor, but both teams like to run, so it's not as big as it could be. I like the outcome you're looking for.
Let's start this bowl season right.

I have mixed feelings on this game. In bowls I generally fade the MAC because they stink in bowls, and I know dogs win 55% of the time in bowl games where the line is between 3.5 and 10.
So those two trends say bet on Charlotte. But Buffalo, as per Gold Sheet, a Cappers newsletter, has a better defense, tops in the MAC allowing 19.5 PPG and a solid running attack, which looking at the numbers Charlotte can't stop.
Normally a no play for me, the god damn MAC teams are just too unpredictable, but hey it's bowls, we gotta bet. Buffalo-6.5 for me.
I don't like the under, but the weather doesn't make me like the over either. These are two running teams which makes for lower scores but they both are successful running the ball, good OLines, so I strongly suggest wait on any over under bets till near game time and use the internet to find out if fronts full of rain are moving through during game time. Fast moving fronts, you can see how fast they are moving in the last hour, means windy conditions.
