San Diego State +3.5
My first pick of the bowl season is going to San Diego State. I am a big believer in motivation for bowl game betting. In other words, which team wants to be there and which is well....just there. San Diego State has sold its entire initial allotment of tickets and then asked for more. BYU is still working on the first set. San Diego State is going to a bowl for the 3rd year in a row which is a first in the school's history, while BYU is going to it's 8th straight bowl game. Plus throw in the fact that this is a home game for SDSU and I give the motivation factor to SDSU.
Another thing I considered for this game is BYU is 2-4 on the road this year and I consider this a road game. I know BYU has a great defense, but SDSU D is not bad as well. BYU is also going into this game without their starting Center and who knows what qb will play. Expect some center/qb exchange mishaps.
With all that being said, San Diego comes into to this game the hotter team and I believe they win this one outright.
