Cam & Cecil Newton are what is wrong in american sports today

Corrupt motherfuckers.
Instead of following the path to millions in the NFL.
We know the story. 
Well it seems Cam & Cecil could give a shit about what AUBURN or the NCAA think or say.
Cecil was in attendance last night and now they claim HE KNEW NOTHING about the MUTUALLY AGREED DECISION HE STAY AWAY.

This kind of corruption should be eye opening enough to the NCAA and AUBURN that Cecil clearly said FUCK YOU by attending.

Why are these actions even acceptable in 2011. 

Cam you and your dad are extra large ghetto pieces of shit and I hope you bust out in the NFL just make sure to save a few million for you and daddy to survive another 60 years.

Even worse is that Cecil was on the field after the game.  You can't get on the field without credentials.  Somebody had to give Cecil the necessary credentials to get past security, and unto the field.

I cannot confirm this, but I heard the NCAA will not allow Auburn to have the BCS NC trophy until their investigation is complete.  Anyone else hear anything like this?  Sounds fishy.

I'll stick with my earlier prediction that when the NCAA investigation is all said and done, this will be the largest cheating scandal in collegiate sports history.  Like the USC investigation, it may take some time, but I think the outcome is inevitable.

I have asked several Auburn fans the following question and never gotten a straight answer... Why is it that Pat Dye was caught red handed ON TAPE cheating (Eric Ramsey affair) and is still associated with the university? Hell, he even has a position as an "advisor". Bobby Lowder, former CEO Colonial Bank, was involved with that scandal as well and he remains on the Board of Trustees. Auburn fans remind me of San Francisco Giant fans when the whole Barry Bonds debacle was going on.

Auburn and Tennessee are the dirtiest programs in the SEC, and everybody in the SEC knows it.

With repsect to Tennessee, I should speak in past tense because Phat Phil and Lame Kitten are now gone, and I have a tremendous amount of respect for the Vols' new coach Derek Dooley.  I firmly he will clean up that cesspool of corruption over there.

The NCAA's hatred for Alabama goes back to the days of Bear Bryant.  Accordingly, the NCAA (and the SEC under Roy Kramer) have repeatedly allowed both Tennessee and Auburn to get away with bloody murder for a very long time simply because they are Bama's biggest rivals.  I can't really get into the details because I would end up writing a book that probably no one would read, but that is what's really been going on, and it's been going on for a very long time.

It is also why Auburn and Tennessee ALWAYS have a bye week before they play Alabama.  The Roy Kramer scheduling ended this season so Tennessee will drop off of Alabama's bye week list next season.

NYTIMES said best "Cecil and Cam thumbing their nose at the establishment = NCAA" Yet these two ghetto ass money grubbing man person sound never get away with it. The NCAA should take the heisman away. Remove the National Championship Trophy and PUNISH Auburn for years to come. It really is sickening.

the whole Cam Newton story reminds me of "He Got Game."  money is flying at these athletes by the end of high school...... in the movie, Jesus Shuttlesworth (Ray Allen) has a high amount of integrity, and does it right, but he is an exception to the rule.  most of these kids are no-integrity having losers, who are raised by no-integrity having losers...... Cam Newton is at the other end of the spectrum from Jesus Shuttlesworth, and it is a shame that another national championship will have to be revoked because the NCAA didn't drop the hammer when they should have, simply because they wanted to cash in on higher ratings in their title game.

last laugh will be on Cam, who is clearly not smart enough to be an NFL QB, and will never even have the amount of success that Tim Tebow will (which isn't all that much)......

that's true, Auburn is the one who will pay the price for all of it...... just like USC paid the price for Reggie Bush taking money.

however i think Cam will pay a small price because these things go to character issues, and if that means he drops 10 spots in the draft, that amounts to millions lost, and since he will prove to be a bust as a QB fairly quickly, he will never be able to sign a huge extension and get the real big bucks......

and yes, just like the movie suggested, this is rampant in sports even at high school (and sometimes junior high) levels..... no high profile athlete at the pre-professional level does not get offered money in some form; not one!  Cam's situation only came into the limelight because (1) he took the money, and (2) he was prominent on the national radar.




kalind, if you really believe we don't know he got paid, you are a bit naive.  when has a story like this ever become so widespread without it ultimately proving to have some merit to it?  not even just with money being paid, but with gambling (Pete Rose, Michael Jordan), steroids (Giambi, Clemens, and eventually Bonds)...... this shit doesn't come out of thin air and persist in the headlines.  it just doesn't!

Cam's dad took that money; it will come out; and Auburn will lose this title......

Auburn has not been accused of anything by the SEC, NCAA, or FBI. The only people slinging mud are the Alabama fans.  The same fans of a program that currently has 16 teams on probation.  Including their football team that has been on probation for 17 of the last 20 years and is not going off probation until 2014.  Alabama has been placed on major probation 3 times since the last time Auburn was sanctioned 30 years ago. Alabama is the dirtiest program in the history of football and built their history by cheating.  That is why just about every coach who learned their trade from Bear Bryant led their team to probation.  Danny Ford, Galen Hall, Pat Dye, Jackie Sherril, Howard Schnellenberger, and Gene Stallings are testiment to what Alabama football is all about.

Jimmy your sources on Auburn football appear to be the Alabama message boards.  Jimmy the NCAA is an organization of Univeristies.  They don't hate Alabama. They punish them because they are corrupt.

I love how every Cam hater is an SEC fan. Get over the bitterness. Georgia fans didn't dogpile AJ Green for selling his stuff, and now he's bolting for the pay day.  The dollar amount doesn't make it more wrong or right.  EVERY SEC school breaks the rules.  Miss St. never said crap about it until Auburn started winning. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
