Can we all get serious here for a second???

If your one of the many who actually think Clemson has a chance to cover tonight your crazy. Clemson had 2 special teams td's last week and 1 deep pass which made up the majority of their scoring.... They also dont have Harper or Davis who were the leaders on that team last year. Option teams are impossible to defend as we saw in the OSU game :( so i expect ther same tonight. GT is more motivated and expirienced that this Clemson team.. Spillers weak legs could be a factor tonight... last time i checked he is a Running back... Look for Clemson to get down early and have to let that sloppy QB of theirs loose it could be a disaster. Only way this is close is if they have 2 special teams td's again....

Tonight i am going with the over 44.  Wish I was on it at 42 the other day.  Dont think it will matter.  I also lean to GT -5 but will enjoy watching both teams run the ball all over each other. 

GT option is so much fun to watch and they will do it at will against Clemson.  Also Clemsons O line should dominate GT dline and get Spiller rolling early.

Yes the clock will run with both teams staying on the ground but that doesnt mean both teams wont score at will. 

Special teams are also a big reason in this game.  GT doesnt cover kicks all that well.  Both teams have big play guys which will give both teams short fields to work with. 

Gt 34-24. 

GL everyone.  Over 44 for 2 units.

Sounds pretty persuasive to me.  No one can stop the GT option attack if you dont believe me watch the tape of the Peach Bowl.  Clemson is completely overrated at both O line and D line.  GT by 20.

remember this is a rivalry game...two schools within 2 hours of each other always a game thats won in the end for the last few years...clemson's team speed on defense plus returning 9 starters give them the edge in this one. i like the +5 im getting at betjamaica, although i believe clemson pulls this out straight up.

I'm just starting to get back into the swing of things this year.  Had a great cfb and fb run last year.  I want to start off this one with a win.  This looks like it could be easy.  If there is such a thing.  GT won last year at Clemson and covered the spread.  They are better this year and they are at home.  So I would obviously take GT -5.   Which I am going to do.  My only problem, and I know it sounds weird is that, for like the first 6 weeks last year the team that was favored to win, many times lost and never covered what appeared to be easy spreads.  So I will take GT for a small sum.  Nothing would surprise me on a Thursday game.  GL though, lets get a W $$$

Ok although I do like GT tonight, this doesnt make sense.
LSU spanked GT in the peach bowl last year 38-3 pretty much stopping their rushing attack.

There are 120 teams in Division I CFB and four of them run the option. Three of those teams are the academies. That's how impossible it is to defend. My God, no one loves the offense more than I do but there is a reason why only four teams run it. If it were so impossible to defend, everyone would use it.

It's a nice offense for undermanned teams and when not a lot of schools are employing it. If 20-30 teams used it, it would go away in 2-3 years, just like it did when Miami sent it into extinction in the 90's. How many option teams do you think are going to beat Florida or USC in a big game? The answer to that question is zero.
