Get it right. The Canes are the Convicts. It's Florida St. that the Norte Dame students named the "Creminoles" in the 90's.

Besides USC, THIS is the game the Irish have been pointing for all year. They are going to absolutely bulldoze what will become a "Tropical Depression ". Irish -3 is the steal of the season.

Miami is a sham without any quality wins over proven top teams. VA Tech was just another team that snuck into the ratings playing no one either. ND is going to decimate the Canes, it's not a matter if but a matter of what time on Saturday.

Also, I usually reserve Catholics v Criminals title for the USC game, but it's seemingly fit for the Miami Hurricanes as well, a commensurate crime mecca on another coast.

I will take thugs over rapists. So quick people forget the gang rape of the passed out girl a few years back. Didn&#x2019;t Notre Dame have to forfeit the wins for the year that played nobody until the championship game against Bama :) Tired of hearing about have brutal the ND schedule is. At the end of the year USC, NC State, and Michigan State will not even be ranked. The lost at home to the Georgia backup qb. Obviously ND has impressive wins but if you don&#x2019;t think the NCAA doesn&#x2019;t want ND in the playoffs you don&#x2019;t understand football. Hard to respect a team with no conference and no conference championship game. Notre Dame would have 3-4 losses in any top conference. Media hype.

Miami proved me wrong last week, but Tech is obviously a front runner team. They don&#x27;t have even close to the offensive firepower as Notre Dame. Miami has figured out how to win many close games against average competition while Notre Dame just blows these good teams out. The way they were able to score against above average defenses with their run tells me they can do the same thing to Miami.

Pec Buddy...Yes..I have seen it.  Let me explain things so I will  be "smarter", lol...1.  YOU mentioned "Criminals" in the context of Notre Dame.  I was merely pointing out that it was really "Creminoles" and that this term referred to Florida St.  (who are the "Seminoles"get it? - this rhymes with "Cerminoles") who had a stirring rivalry with N.D. in the 90&#x27;s and beyond - in fact the game on 11/13/93 was the 1st one that GameDay ever went on location to.  The Creminoles had several players later convicted of criminal activity, selling shoes, etc.2.  Richt is the current coach of Miami.  My opinion of him is that he is not a great coach a la great coaches in Miami&#x27;s past like Jimmy Johnson - who if you watched that 30 for 30 docudrama - inspired his Miami team to be out for blood (as the earlier poster mentioned Miami would be out for this Saturday) against Notre Dame.  Richt is a devout Christian as you may know.... and he would never provoke his team to such an un-Jesus like attitude.Richt was the former coach at Georgia for 15 years and was fired 2 years ago - great recruiter, pretty good coach, but close to winning anything on a National level.3.  USC (the one in Los Angeles) is Notre Dame&#x27;s #1 rival.  I was pointing out that Notre Dame would be VERY up for Miami this Saturday - on par with the hate we have for USC, in large part because of the rivalry developed in the past with the &#x27;Canes.4.  A Tropical Depression is an extremely weakened Hurricane.  Get it?  I was pointing out that N.D. would beat them down (I used the term "bulldoze")  Sorry to confuse you.Ok...now that I have explained all of this for you...yes...I DO feel a lot SMARTER, lol.Thanks for the enlightenment.

What is up with you Miami Guys??  (Oh yeah - you went to Miami..)  Get your facts straight.....and by the way, in 1990, neither you (nor Dan LeRetard for that matter) broadcasted that game from Notre Dame.  ND didn&#x27;t issue broadcast credentials for visiting student stations.  Hopefully Richt studied a little harder than you didn&#x27;t.  Oh...one more thing - I hope the STOMPING is the same as it was in 1990......There was still one &#x201C;Final War&#x201D; to play and it would be on October 20, 1990 in South Bend. (27 years ago...)Notre Dame led 22-20 with a little more than six minutes to play. With the ball on the Miami 21-yard-line, Irish quarterback Rick Mirer founding running back Rodney Culver out of the backfield, and Culver moved up the sideline for a clinching touchdown in the 29-20 win.
