Going to start out here with Northwestern as they come into Bowl season on a nice roll winning and covering 3 straight including beating a very good Wisconsin team.Northwestern thrives as an underdog covering 10 of their last 13 and is absolutely thrilled to be in this bowl.
FLORIDA ST. +3 (hook)
When I broke this one down West Virginia showed to be the best team here and infact this line looked a little low as I wondered why FSU was even in this bowl game.As far as motivation goes, you will find no team this year more motivated to get a win for the outgoing legend Bobby Bowden.When I broke down the conferences I found that the ACC has been a cash cow when facing the Big East in bowl games compiling a 13-4 ats record.Bowden has been around a long time and loves to play in bowl games which is evident by his 20-10 ats record.More importantly, is the fact that Bob brings his troops into this one off a loss. When that is the case,Bobby the legend is a savy 10-2 ats. West Virginia is the better team here no doubt, but everyone within 5,000 miles will be cheering for Bowden to win this one... even the reffs??

Very tough game to handicap here and should be a no play for me but this is New Years day and Im a degenerate so here goes. True Penn St has shafted me so many times this season I've lost count, but, I'm hard headed and will get on the Lions anyway. I certainly won't question Les Miles as he is one hell of a football coach and deserves to be mentioned as one of the top coaches in the country.That being said, I don't like the way they finished out the season as they should have been beat by Arkansas and did get beat by a suspect Ole Piss team.St. on the other hand finished winning 7 of 8 covering the number in 6 of those.LSU has the team speed, and the better coach but that don't always mean a win as we saw with Wisky demolishing Miami.No way Penn St will demolish LSU here but I think they can control the line of scrimmage on both sides today.
