CFB Picks and Why week 6

Overall record stands at 55-30. Last week we went 12-9.  We have had 5 positive weeks. We started off good - had a terrible middle but ended well. 

Let's look at some numbers:

         Smiss   13 105 91 132

6.5 Marshal  108 44  79 158

Mar. opens up as a 6.5 fav currently around 5.  Smiss is better in Total off. and sched. strength hile Mars. is better in total def. and sagarin rank.  When you have this scenario - the away team usually gets the cover and very often wins su.

My plays:  1. Smiss +5   2. 6pt Teaser Houst-20 /Smiss +11

Alien - thanks.  I was afraid of the late touchdown situation with Houston last night and thought a teaser would be best vice a straight up play.  Hopefully Smiss can do it for us.

Thats what it looked like last week on the VA and Boise game. I am in virginia too and doesn't look like the weather would be that bad and a big factor at all… under seems like the play since Vtech is not a high scoring team but Ncst can put up lots of points too… jimo

Az- the only lean I have is vt - 3 or doing a teaser between vt and smiss. No other leans on these games. Bol to you.

Wins – here are the numbers – Based on the line, based on Indiana being better in total off. And schedule strength, and penn st being better in the other two categories – history has shown very often the away team gets the cover and often wins it straight up.  That’s my rationale for taking Indiana.  

The Tex st game follows a similar pattern as above (the numbers are different), the line is different  5 vice 7, however, the pattern is similar - I find the away team often covers it.
