Getting around a little late today. Will have some more late games but got a few ugly ones to tend to first.
SATURDAY:
MISSOURI UNDER 49
Not sure the status of QB Franklin in this one but I still like it even if he's 100 % This Missouri defense held S Carolina and Arizona St to their lowest yardage output so far this year. Central Florida is very scrappy and although lost by 15 at Ohio St played very well on defense. Take away UCF's 3 thrown interceptions and they are in contention to win that game at the Shoe. UCF has gone low 12 of the last 15 chances against non conf opponents and Missouri compliments that trend nicely by going low in 4 of their last 5 chances. Thats a nice combined 16-4 run on the low side that hopefully continues today.
WEST VIRGINIA -10 (-125)
West Virginny opens their Big 12 campaign today in Morgantown and they should be rocking against Baylors atrocious stop unit. Atrocious is the only way to desribe a defense that yields nearly 500 ypg on average. Now I'm not big laying doubles with WV but I do know Baylor and Baylor struggles on the road. As long as they continue improving on their 0-6 ats road record as of late we should be rocking with the Hillbillies later on today. Total players note..I couldn't find one angle on the under in this game but I can't go over with a posted 83 number. With this being unchartered territory for the talented GSmith, I think I'll take the wait and see approach and see how he handles himself.
MINNESOTA +7 (hook)
Ok...I hear a ton of people calling for Iowa to get some revenge against the Gophers today and I always check out the revenge angle myself but Minny continues to be a covering machine and I'd much better bet on the streak than to bet when the streak is gonna be broken. Minny has covered 5 of the last 6 against Iowa,8 of their last 9 games and 3 in a row this year.Poor Hawkeye backers are going broke losing 8 of the last 9 ats and visiting the bank for loans. Now I will admit at first glance Iowa was enticing and I think they will win this game, but when I looked inside the numbers I think Minny is the side with the value here even though it is a double revenge game for who I consider a great coach in Kirk Ferentz..
BALL ST. OVER 54
Earlier I mentioned streaks and betting with them and not guessing when they are going to end. Such is the case with Ballie St. They are and continue to be money in the bank on the overs. 8 in a row and counting, including 5 in a row on the road have gone high when Ball State takes the field. The streak will indeed end, but hopefully its not today
CLEMSON UNDER 60
No write up for this one. Just like the spot for BC having extra time to prepare for this Clemmy offense and the fact that BC has gone low in 8 of their last 9 and these two havent exceeded this number in 5 straight match ups.
