It’s like the teams flipped this season. Vtech started off slow then looked better the last two weeks. Vandy OT loss doesn’t look so bad now. Boston College looked strong to start the season but has struggled recently. BC has only played one team that can run the ball (Missouri) and the Tigers rushed for 176 yards outgaining BC 440-298. BC has only put up 300Y of offense in one game over the L4 (319 vs Virginia). 

I have been going back and forth but leaning BC after seeing your selection.

interesting stats/trend Brent Pry is just 1-10 SU in one-score games as HC of the Hokies.

Interesting stat about Brent Pry. I like this as a revenge game from last year when BC was on a roll winning 5 straight and then got their asses kicked at home by VT. BC off a tough loss and VT off an easy win and being at home comfortable off a bye. BC’s defense has been good just giving up an avg of  17 points a game. Making this a play when it crossed over a TD. Just feels a bit much imo. bol to you!

I’m not too much of a totals guy. VTs ability to run the ball could determine a lot in this game. BCs holding teams to 3.1 ypc is impressive but like DrGame said they haven’t really faced running teams. Mixed bag on trends:

• The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Boston College's last 5 games on the road
• The total has gone OVER in 8 of Virginia Tech's last 10 games

Another Brent Pry stat. When his team is coming off a bye or extended time off rest, they are 4-1. V Tech hasn't played since the 5th. Almost two weeks.

This is backwards. VT last 5 years 1-4 off a bye.

I don’t buy too much into that though because Pry is only on his 3rd year coaching and won last year off a bye.
