Colorado -3 at home vs NEBRASKA?!!!!!

It is clear that you are making some pretty major assumptions. You do realize that Colorado also has film now as well??? Not understanding how you think that gives Nebraska an edge. confused  I also do not care if you agree with me either. Just countering some of your points because they do not seem to make sense. Presumably the game plan on how to stop Sanders is, keep him off the field, and when he's on it, hit him early and often.

 

Hard to say what the N has offensively since CO's D is not MN's...they won't be wanting to throw, for sure. My bet is...U

Yeah that did not work out too well for TCU. Not that hard to know what Nebraska has offensively, Sims was a pretty bad QB Georgia Tech too before transferring over. As long as he is the QB, pretty sure Nebraska will struggle offensively. He is an awful decision-maker, despite the athleticism. They better dominate the ground game because he won't be able to pass to Hunter's side of the field. an_light

I completely flipped the script on Colorado. Pre-season was down on them, how can they change so much in one year? Well, because the transfers are really good.

Watch Nebraska and Colorado and Colorado looks like the better team. I was very high on Nebraska, and they will be good this year, but Colorado looks like a bowl bound team that will also be good.

Colorado looks like Arizona looked last year (who went 5-7). Maybe they win 5. Maybe 6. But if they are gonna win 5 or 6, I think this is one of the wins.

Very good points, and I had to wait and see how that patchwork Buffs team would work.  We found out!   That was no fluke against a 3-score favorite in a road game. Buffs make some noise in top half of standings and I see a home win versus Nebraska has about a 75% likelyhood.

As an AZ fan, I can assure you that the Wildcats did not have any 5-star talent like Hunter, or Edwards, or a QB with the pedigree of Sanders that trains with Tom Brady in the offseason. an_light. I think Buffs can get to 8 or 9 wins with that offense.

Buffalos defense (or lack of it) is the only concern I see---but then, N.U.s offense is "offensive" itself judging from last week...one has to wonder about the caliber of each teams previous opponents and how much to judge from that.

Whatever that means. Nebraska and Colorado games were both national tv games last week. Also Colorado vs. Nebraska is another national tv game this week. What is your point?

Colorado shocked the world with their win over TCU. The concerning thing is the world will be betting on CU this weekend. Be careful. Most people who have been around the sports betting world for a while have seen this kind of thing before. There is no such thing as a sure thing. Word to the wise.

You have to take the Buffs simply because there is such a drastic difference in the QB's. Huskers QB looks like a shit. Deion's kid looks like a legit NFL prospect. The game plan for Nebraska needs to be run run and run some more. Keep the offense of Colorado off the field.

They gave up 260 to a Sonny Dykes team, Matt Rhule isn't close to Sonny Dykes on the offensive side. Can Nebraska's qb throw an accurate forward pass?

They couldn't get off the field vs an average S. Jose St. team.

Nebraska will be effective running the ball between the tackles and also Sims will be able to move the chains when he scrambles.  However, Nebraska didn't see a QB as good as Sanders last week.  If Sanders can throw for 400+ you cannot rule out the Buffaloes...at all.

want buffs to do well this year, but this game is hard to pick a side. there are cases for huskers with buffs coming off emotional back and forth first win. buffs defense looks horrible to me. they gave up 42 pts and 541 yds to a tcu team with just as many new players as they have, imagine what last yr's tcu team would have done, maybe 800 yds.  havent seen huskers qb but however "bad" he is gotta still look at what he's done in past. he was at the helm in some pretty good wins, tech did beat a 9-4 duke team last yr. they also beat a 24th ranked pitt on the road. who cares if passing isnt his strength then let's play to his legs more where he thrives. even with 4 husker turnovers against minny huskers still had more total yds than gophers. that says something. braska's run D was stout also and they held the qb to under 55%.

If they get down early - it’s over. 

Colorado is built to comeback. 

It would be funny to see Colorado lose though. DO YOU BELIEVE? NOPE.

Bump. Like I said earlier in the week. Sims is an awful QB. Should be benched. But I am happy as I am on the Buffs.
