@jwheels86 wassup wheels ........... Major problem for Deion here is a lack of continuity - he's essentially starting OVER - AGAIN - it's YEAR ZERO part 2. This time with a slightly better roster. So to me the question is - why did you bring in so many players (and coaches) you didn't really want? Is PAT SHURMUR a better OC than Sean Lewis? HELL NO. Did you upgrade your DC? - NO. >> wouldn't it have been better to keep these guys around, and BUILD on what you have? They seem to have better front line players - but depth is still the issue. Check out the size on D - man they're tiny. Kansas St / UTAH / Okie State / UCF > holy crap Boys, don't bring EMOTION into handicapping......
BA good to see you brother.. Always love reading your stuff, there doesn't seem to be many of us left that are long winded and actually have a purpose with it or staying on topic of football detail..
I have no reason to be high on Colorado until they prove I need to, I don't think I have bet ON them yet in the last year only faded.. I agree with everything you mentioned, year zero part 2 is the perfect way to describe it.. They remind me of FSU, just a bunch of individuals and no team principles.. When it's going well it's easy, when they run into adversity they don't handle it like men. Reminds me of a quote I know you'll love "The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way." Marcus Aurelius

Under. They lack defensive talent and that culture is a quitters culture. As soon as they hit adversity they will fold. Deion likely will pull Sanders & Hunter if the season is lost early to protect them for the draft.
The Deion experiment dies this year.

I think the 5.5 comes down to the QB. If he stays healthy and has put in the off season work he will be much better. He was decent last year. Will he or can he up his game to the next level. Other than that the ball bounces in many different directions!
Hope all make money this year.

If you are so confident that CU will exceed 5.5 wins or 6 wins, with the assumption that Baylor is a win, which 2 of the other 8 will CU defeat? Quote Originally Posted by spottie2935: @GrandKynd I agree about CU over 5.5 the rest is just ..pffft
Quite obvious you're a hater, but that's all good. There's a lot of them out here like you, LHH. At the end of the season, you'll be crickets. Nowhere in sight. That's why I'm catching you early. See if you want to put some money where your mouth is. I wish I could screenshot my futures bet. I took a Colorado Alternate High Regular Season Over 6.5 (+175). I'm agreeing with Spottie, just taking it a little further.

Teams that win run the ball. If they are going to win 8+ they need balance on offense. They have a good enough stable of RB’s. Can they open holes?
on defense I expect them to be good enough on the D line and superior in the secondary. The big key is they need A linebacker to lead the team in tackles. That was missing last season.
I predict 7 wins. Some wins are obvious some wins will be unexpected. That’s all I’m going to speculate on.
Thank you for the positive shout out Grand

Perfectly stated. The first 3 games are going to tell us alot about the Buffalos. Nice to see you you are consuming the mind of LonghornHoosier, as I am sure he is seeing you in his sleep since he has mentioned you a couple of times in different threads. He is a piece of work that is forsure! I enjoy all your work and I am sure it will pay off in a successful season.

A hater with mental and emotional issues is more like it. #FACT Let him and his 35 to 40 percent winning percentage have his fun while the rest of us stack our chips. He is not worth our time. Best of luck to you GrandKynd!

Yes, and after what is supposed to be an old school type NDSU physical type team CU will have a few extra days after a Thursday game. Hope they stay healthy.
