Utah St. needs to show some improvement here to cover this spread, which I believe they are capable of doing. Coming off a win, and a bye week, this team will come ready to play against a top ten ranked opponent. I dont see them winning, however, I have this one 42 - 17 in favor of BYU, but I believe Utah St. can cover their portion
As for Cincinatti, yes, it is unclear who their starting QB will be after losing their top two starters. With a freshman QB coming in to take the start, Cincinnati will have to develop a sound running game which I am sure they have been working on in practice this week. Marshall's defense ranks 108 in the nation in total D and 112th in pass D recording just 6 sacks and six turnovers in 5 games. Granted, Cincy is no West Virginia with the run, but Marshall allowed the Mountaineers 319 rushing yards on 42 carries for an average of 7.6 yds per carry. Cincy, if they want to win this one with a freshman QB, should be able to establish a running game and put up points against the Herd. And the Bearcats D is beginning to show its aggressiveness. All this combined I feel they should come out on top by 7 - 10 at least.

I think it depends on how hard BYU's defense is willing to work, especially in the 2H when the game is well in hand and Utah St trying to score garbage TD's/ Home field advantage should be minimal to none. I would like more towards the 1H in thi one.
I'm not so much worred about Cincy's D, but rather their ability to move with a new freshman QB. Tough luck with the NCAA denying Mauk his 6th year, Grutza going down, and Pike going down...
J, any look into the Tennessee/NIU game?

Cutback - Regarding NIU/Tennessee - Both teams have question marks at QB. Crompton and Stephens are competing this week in practice to see who can exhibit the most consistency. Regardless however, Stephens should see some playing time this week. This non-conference game is a big challenge for NIU defense but the Huskies have a history of playing well on the road in recent years, and I believe they will against a struggling Tennessee offense. UT will struggle trying to find a way to get its offense on track while continuing to play a solid D. And for the Huskies Me'Co Brown is improving each week. I just don't see UT having enough time in this ball game to go up on NIU by 17 because I believe NIU will put up at least 10 points. I would take Northern Illinois with the points here.

Ok , and here are the plays for Saturday...I feel pretty confident in these plays especially because I like the underdogs here. I feel like many of these underdogs have a decent chance at winning outright. Best of luck to everyone!!!
