Does Texas have a chance to cover with Chase McCoy starting???

Question

Chase McCoy is horrible. Oklahoma Defense is under-rated. Everyone says Texas will be pumped up. U dont think Oklahoma will be pumped up??

Can u trust McCoy with blitzes from his blind side?? He has absolutely no awareness or scrambling ability. Some people have it. He doesnt. I see a sack fumbles. A few hit while release dead duck pick 6's. Not to mention the match up between Oklahoma's O-Line vs Texas run defense.

I dont want to hear they are fighting for Mack Browns job. They had plenty of games to do that. He has been on the hot seat since BYU. Should of lost to Iowa St, TD before the half saved them in two ways, extra 7 points, and lot of momentum. And they still almost lost.

If u have Texas tomorrow tell my why. Enlighten me.

I got OK in a teaser. My main concern is their inconsistent offense tho. If Texas makes Bell throw by stuffing the box then they could keep it a close game. Even with these concerns oklahoma defense convinced me to side with them. I think McCoy is good for a pick and strip sack fumble

Im prepared for that. Tough game to just throw him into the fire. Hasnt gotten a snap all year. OU defense really under-rated this year. The have speed everywhere. With Mike Stoops back they will be pushing the right buttons. If Texas gets in predictable passing downs could be a long day.

its case and yes...it will be mack&#x27;s last OU game.   our D is bad, but OU has not exactly lit it up.   the talent (and I mean High School rankings) our comparable between the two, but there is no doubt OU is the better team.&#xD;&#xA;Its a no play for me for a lot of reasons.  it could be a blowout win for OU by 40, or it could come down to a field goal.  I really don&#x27;t see Texas winning this game, but with regard to a cover, you just never know...

I can&#39;t figure out why the line has moved from 13.5 to 11.5. I am an OU alum so I don&#39;t want to get too much homerism going here but I am thoroughly confused by the line movement. Chase McCoy is horrendous. Is there just that much stupid Texas money coming in to lower the line 2 points? Every neutral opinion I&#39;ve heard has OU by 30. Hell, even Chrissy Simms predicted an OU victory by 4 scores.

@rbaline movement is mostly because of OU&#x27;s lack of offensive rhythm at times. It&#x27;s really the only thing I&#x27;m worried about in this game. With that said OU is the play

Well first off all the Texas QB is CASE MCCOY........But the main story here is how much he will actually play.  First time he struggles they are going to throw in Mobile QB Jalen Overstreet and then all hell could break lose.   I say OU wins but this game will be like 28-20 type of game

Maybe a wildcat with Swoopes if they decide to blow his redshirt. But I doubt he is going to be a savior for them, even at the small chance he does play.

Of course they have a chance. Rivalry game yo. Texas doesn&#x27;t lack talent. Get a big special teams/defensive play early and watch out.

I am a Texan and I have not talk to one person that keeps up with UT football that has said UT will cover. Everyone is focus on Mac moving on and rebuilding. OU has owned the Red River Shootout in the past few years. I think it will continue today. I don't agree that the players will play for Mac anymore than The Frogs will play for Patterson. I really think most would just prefer Mac to leave now, but he has earned respect and they will let him leave at the end of the year. IMHO

Anything can happen as we all know but I took OU -10 (120). I think the over may be a good play but had not looked that deep into it.

OU has to stay out of must pass 3rd downs. Bell is not a good QB and their defense will need to keep field position in their favor all game
