The running dogs went 9-7 last week and are 25-22 YTD. Still waiting for that MONSTER week. The Carolina schools were a big disappointment. NCST actually outrushed Syracuse but turned the ball over 3 times. One thing I wanted to clear up although it's too late now; I made a mistake on one of my trifecta teams. I had Wyoming as a trifecta team and it should have been Nevada. For the record, with Wyoming the trifecta teams went 2-1. If I had included Nevada they would have gone 3-0. Like a fool I didn't post any of them as official plays, mainly because Wyoming and CSU became the favorites. I've never had much luck when the line gets crossed with these PRD's. But I should have at least played Rice. And I really liked CSU before the line reversal...Oh well.
Here are the running dogs for this week: Nevada, WF, Louisville, Virginia, South Carolina, UCLA, NW, Tulsa, CMU, Buffalo, Tenn, Auburn, Wyoming, UCF, Kentucky....Tennessee and Buffalo are the only two trifecta teams (PRD with better D playing at home) this week.
These are games that also line up with my numbers and are official plays so far:
Nevada +3
South Carolina +3
UCLA +6.5
Auburn +7

For the record, trifecta team Buffalo is now -2 and no longer a running dog. I hit the line at pickem when it first came out. If it was still at that number I would have used them as a running dog. I'm playing a wait and see with my other trifecta team Tennessee. Right now they are at +3 with some juice. Waiting to see if some Bama money comes in and drives it up.

I'm adding Ohio +4 to the Running Dogs list. For some reason I read it as -4 instead of +4. Ohio is definitely a running dog. Defensively I have them with the better YPG vs competition defense, but not the better PPG.

Shit! I didn't realize I hadn't posted them. I was holding out playing them last night in hopes of getting a +3 and forgot to post them on here. As soon as I pull my head out of my ass I'll post the list again of ALL of the running dogs and include the ones with the better D or homefield advantage. Thanks for letting me know!

I was looking at the Nevada game this week too. NV rushed for 353 yards on Oregon St. last week. Wow. Had to look at that twice. Now a running dog at home! May need to dig deeper on this one but that NV TT at 23.5 seems tempting too. Really like the list this week. Thanks for sharing.
Play the game. Don’t let the game play you.

So do you play all of these? Equally? More on the ones in bold? cheers!
Going strictly by my numbers, I play them all blindly for a half unit on Sunday when the lines first comes out. Then I cherrypick my favorites on here as the week goes.

@DrStrangelove I like Nevada tonight too at +3. BOL Doc!
Yes, Nevada is one of my home running dogs. They also line up pretty good with my power rating of Fresno -2.5.
I made a couple small pizza and wings bets on Purdue +30 and BYU/OSU over 27 first half. Just a feeling Gundy put some new wrinkles in the Pokes offense with Ollie Gordon in the bye week. Of course I could just as easily be wrong.
