Besides if youre gonna fade the forum tonight, then OVER is the play. Seems like everyone is automatically leaning/taking the under because both teams likes to "grind it out."
Agreed 100% People are failing to realize that the last two seasons Ohio has put up over 30 on temple each game. Yes sure the coaches are different but if anyone tries to tell me the philosophy on O and D changed at Temple your a fucking liar. They can never pass and usually have a decent D but this years appears to be better. I dont care Temple played Penn State. Penn state fucking blows and they are lucky to put up 17 pts in a game with the two scrubs they have under center in Bolden and McGloin, only reason they win is defense. Same can be said for temple. I cant fathom temple staying @ 10.0 ppg against on defense this season so i expect Ohio to put up around 30 once again as I'll trust Solich and his undefeated record last 5 seasons ATS off a bye as well as his game-plan against temple in which his teams have been able to put up 30+ as mentioned before.
Plus lets be honest, how many people will take an under bet with a team giving up 10.0 ppg and total set @ what was 47.5? Everyone feels like they are sitting on a pot of gold knowing they will need to see damn near 50 pts put up tonight for them to lose with this temple defense. Throw in temple being 1-7 to the over this season and eventually some regression to the mean can be expected in their defensive/offensive ppg as well as the record of o/u.
And ive seen some throw out this trend: Temple is 10-3 under in last 13 conference games. Funny thing is that two of the times that they did go over in those games were against ohio. Best of luck to whatever you choose
