FCS Title Game: NDSU Bison -13.5

Question

Nobody is likely looking much at the FCS title game, but I like the Bison -13.5 over Towson. The Bison won't have the advantage of the home crowd in the Fargodome, but they are a good team with a heck of a defense. I think Towson's run ends and they get rolled by NDSU. Will be looking at 1H lines when they post as well.

Again, know no one cares, but Bison still available at under 2 TDs. I keep pouring more on them -13.5. Craig Bohl will be coaching them till the end before heading out to Wyoming to takes over as coach of the Cowboys. Players took a private vote to have him coach till the end.....very close knit group. IMO Bison could beat a lot of FBS teams.

Vegas asleep at the switch on this one, probably because little money coming in on it. When all the degens and drunk Vegas tourists start hitting it Saturday the line will likely move up.

Rolling with the NDSU Bison (-13.5) large over Towson. ESPN2 on Saturday @ 2PM.

Good luck, and agree that both are better than a lot of bowl teams. The FCS games have been entertaining to watch. That NDSU defense is lock down.

Not to be forgotten: The NDSU Bison opened the season at Kansas State as K-State's exhibition "cupcake game" that many big D1 programs get. One little problem....NDSU went into Manhattan and handed the Wildcats a 24-21 loss!

Why is this line less than 2 TD&#x27;s?  Exactly.  Go Towson!  Towson is not intimidated by big bad NDSU.  &#xD;&#xA;I guarantee you that K State never thought of NDSU as a cupcake in any way.  &#xD;&#xA;T West has already said he is going to the NFL a year early after this game.  Peter Athens is back and healthy and will QB Towson.  This will be closer than you think.

Frisco, TX = south Fargo&#xD;&#xA;It may not be the dome of Fargo, but NDSU fans will outnumber Towson 20:1 - or more.  This town treats the Bison like WI does the Packers...Bison win by 20&#x2B;

Towson is 9-0 on the road this year.  They enjoy being the underdogs.  They beat #2 EIU on the road as 17 point dogs and won on the red turf at #3 EWU as dogs.  They read what NDSU fans are saying.  No one gives Towson a chance but they have as much talent as NDSU.  Go ahead and take NDSU just like everyone else.  It&#x27;s only 13.5 or so.  That&#x27;s an easy cover.

I&#x27;m not taking anything away from Towson.  They&#x27;ve played great, and have a lot of talent.  That EIU game was pretty fortunate for them in that it was snowing, extremely cold and very windy, which fit far better into their ground and pound game that with EIU&#x27;s passing scheme. Terrance West ran for 354 yards in that game.  He is going to be punished by the NDSU defense.  Not going to get into a pissing contest....good luck with your bet, and we&#x27;ll find out soon enough. moose - Friso was factored into my bet as well.  I was reading about the Fargo presence in Frisco, and how much they&#x27;ll outnumber a paltry Towson showing.  A lot of people in Fargo load up the family caravan and hit the road.  The field in Frisco is a quaint soccer stadium that fits about the same number of people as the Fargodome (20,000), although it&#x27;s outside.  Weather a little windy but not bad.  Go Herd!

ndsu has the huge win on the road against k state, but from top to bottom I do feel Towson has played a slightly tougher schedule as well.

west? how about zenner and flanders over the past couple seasons? best RB's arguably in the FCS and the stats speak for themselves - players simply do not walk away from a Bison game healthy...this team is top 40 in the nation this season, easily. I would have a hard time finding 40 teams that beat the Bison (road/home) on a regular basis to be honest with you...

Glad there is some discussion on it...NDSU is the Boise St of this decade.

I know a little bit about Towson they are soft and should probably lose to North Dakota by about 25-30&#x2B; points easily, maybe more, glad my book has the line worth a play on it.
