I'm sure the same was true in 1992 vs Miami and in 1999 vs Florida as well.  Who won those?

Last night, the only states that had Houston winning were Texas and Rhode Island.  Who won that one?

Like I said, thats all the Ohio State fans could talk about was beating a fast miami team in 02. The score ended up being 41-14, I was there. This is a better Florida team than 06 and a less talented team in Bama.

Love the pick. I think Florida is too much for bama. Never been sold on John Parker Willson and if Bama goes down early Wilson will throw picks and many of them. Everyone is overlooking the fact that this is played in the georiga dome on the carpet speed shows on the carpet, speed kills on the carpet. My final reasoning is that Brandon Spikes is a nutcase and will serve up Coffee like hes working at Starbucks.

Please keep celebrating the huge win before it happens, so you can push this line even beyond ten points.  I already have two units on 'bama + 10 and will likely do more once it goes higher.

Fla is a great team to be sure, but disrespect and jealousy here won't get you anywhere.  All the chest-thumping will go quiet around dinnertime on Saturday.

One example you are ignoring reality is to point at the LSU game on point differential alone.  Saban had to lead his team back into LSU, a team and an entire state that he scorned two years prior.  It was as hostile an away environment as any CFB you can name, ever.  LSU was pumped beyond belief, and he managed to pull out a win in OT. That is not a game to be measured in style points, but in the W-L column.

This may be a line that people have used all year but I have never heard it before. 

That being said, Alabama +10.5 (-120) for me

ill take saban over meyer all day everyday.  bama will run left behind andre smith over and over and over again until urban chokes on it.  as for tebow, saban will have a little something for meyer's cracker jack offense, you can believe that...bama ML is looking so very sweet

Flordia will shut down Bama's run. They will stuff the box and put the game in John's hand. Bama will get not offensive production. Also Harivn will play Flordia backers

Another very intresting thing i learned is that bama is 3rd in the nation in total defense and while “defenses win championships” this defense has yet to face anything like it will see Saturday. It has faced only one offense ranked higher than 32nd and that was Georgia (21st) and the Bulldogs put up 30 points. Florida is 17th in total offense and the speed of Florida is a huge advantage and it gets even more pronounced on artificial turf which we will see on Saturday.

The loss to Ole Miss was NOT a disgrace.  That team has morphed into it's true self late in teh season.  Don't forget they had to start the season with a new coach...a damn good one in Houston Nutt.

Jeavan Snead will play in the NFL.  Peria Jerry will be a first round draft pick.

Florida will cover this spread.

Stay away. Game is tough to cap. I've been reading great arguments for both sides. God I can't wait to see it. Leaning Florida, but definitely sitting this one out.

bama will control this game up front fellas.  florida's defensive line is short with injuries and bama's offensive line is the best in the country.  they will run behind andre smith over and over and over again until meyer pukes on himself.  tebow, harvin, rainey, and demps cant do anything from the sideline, which is where they will be all afternoon. when they are on the field,  florida will make plays i have no doubt, but saban will do what it takes to shut down urban's cracker jack offense when he has to.  saban's ability to gameplan on defense is the best there is...i hate saying that because i hate the guy, but come on. alabama will be the more focused team and the most disciplined team.  they dont turn the ball over and they dont commit penalties.  florida leads the leage in penalties.  florida looks great with all their speed and flash but this matchup is not in their favor.  all that said and i get 10 points???? my god, i love this play......bama +10,,,bama ML...large
