Thanks for addressing jmike100, another useless post in a very good thread. As far as one thing you saidf, LSU coaches have made some questionable calls this year. How about 4th and 10 in OT and we rush 2 defensive lineman andf there top receiver this year the FB is wide open 11 yards in the flat. Blitz Casey Dick and LSU wins the game right there. Bo don't know shit.
I think any other coach in America including PeeWee football blitzes the hell out him on that 4th and ten play. I was stunned when they converted. It took the crowd completely out of the game and the players looked beaten. Once ARK scored on their two-point conversion I knew it was over. It's easy to play Monday morning QB/Coach but that call just seems to obvious.
Early Doucet's bonehead decision to get into an illegal formation on the TD play didn't help either. WTF was he thinking?

Very true and if you watched the replay both Doucet and I think it was Lafell were both just looking at each other.Thats a senior that shouldn't make that mistake.

He is currentlydove/quail hunting in Arkansas...take it for what it's worth, had the plane tracker from when Bama was looking for their new coach last year up and running, and that is where the plane went.....Auburn fans would probably be able to corrobarate(sp?) this i think...

You answered your own question... Talks are on hold because he is in Arkansas hunting. Rumors are that he may be offered the job while in Arkansas. But it is true that he is hunting in Arkansas, he takes this trip every year.

I personally don't think there is much of a shot that Saben lands in LSU again. I can't see Spurrier or Del Rio landing there either, especially when Del Rio is currently leading his team to the playoffs, playing good ball. I think it will be none of the names mentioned above, but you know more than me.

Rumor has it that Saban visited Baton Rouge and asked for the job, offered to take a million dollar a year pay cut and would sign a ten million dollar buy out clause with it decreasing one million a year for each year he was at LSU. I also understand that LSU faculty does not want him but that some of the movers and shakers do. We shall see. He reportedly has no buy-out clause at Alabama.

I just don't get this hire. Bo seems to be the more risky choice to hire rather than some of the other likely candidates.
I was hoping that the Bo to Nebraska was a lot of smolke and no fire but as it turns out Les Miles says he had no overtures with Michigan.
How in the world does Nebbie get a guy who has no track record of running a program? Ugh. Well high risk I guess get high reward. or worse than callahan. Jeez. I hope this gamble pays off.
