Great job!!!
A brief note on my two "Best Bet" plays thus far.
When I designate something a "Best Bet" and put more money it, obviously I'm pretty confident in that play. That said, although I have covered both of my "Best Bets" in the bowl season neither we as easy as I thought they would be.
In both games (Southern Miss vs. Nevada & Florida State vs. Notre Dame) I was very confident that my defense would be able to shut the opposing offense down.
In the Southern Miss game I said Nevada would not score more than 17 points. They scored exactly 17 points. In the Florida State game I predicted Notre Dame would score 13 points. They scored 14 with 7 of those being scored by the defense.
So I was pretty much dead on with both predictions. Where things have gone wrong was on the offense side of the ball. Southern Miss, despite being setup with great field position time-after-time, their contagious case of Hawaiian vacation-itus killed drive after drive. In the end they managed to pull it together and get the cover (for some).
In the Florida State game more of the credit has to go to Notre Dame's defense. They did a great job of blowing up plays in the 1st half by confusing Florida State's young offensive line. The way Florida State's offense played in the second half is about what I expected from them the entire game. Had we gotten that, that game would not have been very close.
I figured if Florida State could jump out to a lead that 2-turnover Tommy would exacerbate matters for the Golden Domers by turning the ball over a few times. It didn't quite play out that way.
Nevertheless, the two defenses I bet so much money came through for me in both cases, so I'll take both wins - ugly as they may have been.

I also just want to say thanks to everyone would have left messages of encouragement and congratulations. Thanks guys. Hopefully we can keep up the momentum.
I would like to add some words of caution. If you find yourself up pretty big right now, please don't give that money back to your bookie by making crazy bets. Stay smart, and stay focused and stay discplined.
Let's have a great 2nd half to the bowl season!!!

I have been pretty busy with work today, and unfortunately will be again tomorrow. I probably would have made a couple of more small value bets throughout the day had I been around to babysit thses games. I will post all of my plays for tomorrow before I go to bed tonight. Hopefully things will go well for me tomorrow and I can spend some time in the forum tomorrow.
Best of luck to all!!!

Jimmy-
Good job so far- i have been on most of the same teams- not liking anything tomorrow except the Sooners- Looks like i am the lone ranger on that pick- What are your thoughts on that game? I think the Sooners have too much talent for Iowa and with Landry Jones rumored to be staying around, i see the Sooners blasting Iowa. I keep hearing Stoops is going to Penn St. so surely the Sooners players are hearing the same stuff. I might just take tomorrow off and hit the games i really like on Saturday. Good luck and keep up the good work!

Bowl recap:
My overall record on "posted" bowl plays is currently 14-2-1 and 2 & 0 on "Best Bets," which is good for +40.45 Units. I'm not going to list all of the games each time. Maybe at the end of the season.

I actually like a 4 games tomorrow to some degree. Just to give you one-liners on each game (these are not the only reason I am playing them).
I like BYU because they have older more mature players who usually play well in bowl games. They've also played a much tougher schedule.
A play on the Big 12 and a fade on the Big East.
A play on the SEC and a fade on the ACC. I hate fading Al Groh though. I think he's one of the most underrated coaches in the country. I still think the Bulldogs defense dominates Wake Forest's offense.
I like Oklahoma quite a bit. After the Mississippi State game, this is my next favorite game of the day. I'll take my chances on the far more talented team and lay the points.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

I'm not really a huge total player, but I will when something really sticks out at me. Neither of these games really stand out to me, but I would lean your way on both.
When I play UNDERS, I almost always play it for the 1st half rather than for the game. That keeps me away from the dreaded overtime scenario.
My favorite total play for tomorrow would be UNDER 24 (1st Half) in the Wake Forest/Mississippi State game. I think Wake will really struggle to score against that Bulldog defense. I also don't think Mississippi State's offense will exactly light it up either. I think that one has a great chance of staying UNDER in the 1st half.
With respect to your two games, I like BYU to win the game so I defnitely think Tulsa's offense will find it tough sledding against BYU's defense. I don't Tulsa scores more than 21 here, so I definitely like the UNDER side. This feels like a 27-21 type of a game to me.
I don't have much of a total opinion on Rutgers/Iowa State total except to say that I think ISU's offense will have some success. I like them to win the game.

Yeah, lots of ups and downs today. Things looked bleak at times. Glad thinks fell into place at the end.
