Think I went 11 & 6 (64.7%) on posted plays last week, but a very disappointing 2 & 2 on "Best Bets." The Wisconsin game prevented me from hitting the 5-team parlay I do the first week of the season. In short, three key loses (Wisconsin, Louisiana Tech & Florida St) prevented me from having a monster week.
I really wanted to re-cap last week's thread, but I have been ridiculously busy. I may try to do that this week.
I did call the Alabama game correctly on side and total, but was a little nervous that Saban may sobatage my Alabama plays, so was reticent to call either play a "Best Bet." While we're talking about Alabama, I hope y'all jumped on Tua +1400 for Heisman. After one week, he has jumped from Heisman long-shot, to Heisman favorite. Still seeing 6 to 1 out there, which is still a great play for a player I believe will win the award in a landslide. With the Jalen Hurts pretending to be a QB nightmare behind us, you can pretty much bank on Alabama scoring 50+ a week.
Another team you can bank on scoring 50 every week is Oklahoma. I think Lincoln Riley may be the best offensive mind in the country.
I usually don't feel this way about the NFL, but there are four games that I really like, so I'll post them here as well.
