This without a doubt the most frustrating college football season I have ever experienced in my entire life. Through 4 weeks I have lost every single bet that has come down to crunch time . . . every single one of them. This week I had the follow games come down to crunch time, and predictably, like the previous 3 weeks, I lost every single one of them.
Auburn -6.5 (Loss) Auburn kneel to end the game in field goal range.
Army Pk (Loss) - Lost 2 4th quarter fumbles red zone
Florida +15.5 (Loss) - Muschamp punted on 4th and 3 from midfield instead of trying for a backdoor cover.
Texas State ML (Loss) - Lead almost the whole game - threw a 4th quarter pick 6 to lose the game.
Clemson ML (Loss) - complete choke job including not scoring from the 2-inch line.
Cal ML (Loss) - Lead the entire game until the final play. A complete 4th quarter collapse allowing Arizona to score 36 4th quarter points, including recovering an onside kick. Like most dumbazz coaches, Sonny Dykes played it conservatively at the end of the game (trying to run out the clock at the expense of picking up game-winning 1st downs) allowing Arizona to get the final winning possession of the game.
Oregon 2nd half - kneeled to end the game on the 5-yard line.
So today alone I was 0 for 7 in crunch time. I could go back through weeks 1-3 and the results are very similar. I am probably something like 0 & 25 this season in crunch time. That is not even mathematically possibly, yet it has happened!!!

You realize Arizona won on a 47-yard Hail Mary on the last play of the game right???

I remember the game, but I had no action on it. That was brutal though for sure.

I looked up Clemsoning and found something slightly different.
VERB
1. The act of pulling a "Clemson."
2. Losing outright as a favorite of two touchdowns or more, generally at home, after looking like a legitmate threat to win the national title in its prior outing.
3. Almost, but not quite winning important games, often invovling an element of tragicomedy.

I feel your pain, bro...we can do our research, and make sound picks based on available information and perspective, and the damn teams just don't perform...Let's hope week 5 will be better.
I value your perspective...

Just haven't had time the last two weeks. I'll try to post this week.

I buy off of key numbers frequently. I'm sure glad I did last season in the Alabama/TAMU game. That 6.5 sure came in handy!!!
I just bought Texas down to 13.5 this week.

I only put a half of a unit on Akron ML. I thought they might give Marshall a run for their money at home, but I think they turned the ball over each of their first possessions, so that one over before it started. All of my other 4 UDMLs should have won.

Poor Boom Boom!!!
I feel his pain though. I'm a Viking fan in the NFL. Same dynamic at play there.
