Did you hear that Dick claims that his quarterback is the best in WAC. I heard he compared total yardage on the last three games played by both teams but he forgot to mention that colt didn't even play against Nothern Colorado. I think hawaii will take this game very big. Let's chear him on and bet the load on this one.

Think I'll be on SJSU and all those points, just don't think Brennan is 100%, which he wasn't for Idaho either (I don't think) and therefore had 5 INTs, which weren't all his fault, but here has to be a connection there. SJSU has much better corners and safeties than Idaho, so this may stall the passing attack a scoche, but we'll see. UH wins, but not by 18, IMO.

Ah hell, I can't resist. Too many things "IN MY OPINION" telling me to take Hawaii and lay the pts here. I'm up, so I can take it if I lose. By the way, this is just my bet. I am not advising anyone else to ride. In fact, FADE away.
Just takin some information from all of the posters', tv interviews, and newspaper articles here.
I do see SJS to make it a game in the first half, but Hawaii will do what they do when they are healthy, SCORE!
BTW - LAFAELE, SOARES, and ROBERTS (a SJS transplant who lost his schorlarship and was picked up by Hawaii) will all be playing and should beef up the MISSING DEFENSE that wasn't seen this past weekend. Oh yeah, and then there's that guy who plays quarterback, yeah, he's healthy and he'll be playing also.

I circled this game at the beginning of the season believing that it would be Hawaii's biggest trap game (of course, this was before LA Tech). SJSU has a decent QB in Adam Tafralis who should be able to pass on this Hawai'i D. And how in the hell did Utah State, with arguably the most inept offense in the WAC, score on this team?
Anyway, I don't know what the hell happened to SJSU at the beginning of the year. You'd think they'd have momentum after last year's bowl win against UNM, but they got slapped around by Stanford, AZState, and Kansas State; however, they've since won 2 conference games (though against WAC doormats Idaho and Utah State), so maybe they've righted the ship.
But I have no doubt Brennan will play, and play the entire game, no matter how much cortisone they shoot into him.
However, a hobbled Brennan + porous D means + away game = Hawaii could lose this.

That was last season when Boise St. ended up undefeated. They won on a last second field goal. It's almost always a tough game, at least ATS, for Hawaii at Spartan stadium. Usually their big wins vs SJSU were at Aloha stadium(who thinks about football when they visit Hawaii?!). Hawaii should win with Yonus Davis out but covering that spread is an entirely different thing especially if they continue their horrible defensive play vs Tafralis. Tomey has done a good job with the passing defense since the offense has been so banged up. Hawaii will need to consider running more.
