Seriously want to take NITTANY LIONS to win on the road but the spread is too high and buying pts here is too heavy a juice... Illini would have to be getting over +3 TDs for me to consider them....

In hindsight, what pains me is this:

I circled on my capping sheets other games that I was leaning to and were very tempting *IF* I would have been willing to buy a few points around a key number........Instead I chose to play it conservative and back off............    But it turns out had I bet those,  I would have added an additional 17 wins  against only 4 losses (avg only about -167 each loss!!)  an_smash

Starting sr QB  HARRIS OUT for UTSA.

He's their guy.   Backups are largely unknown!  But who knows they could have a good game with the backup QB.  It happens all the time!

Due to the early going I will pass on a pregame lean to ARMY......watch & see mode for LIVE bet on Army only....

OK....imo, a "hail mary" TD from outside the 35 is ALWAYS a very fortunate break.  That one was from the 46

So, by my count that evens up the lucky breaks for TDs, which in effect, leaves ARMY with a very thin edge in play on the field (after 4 possessions each) and the earned 6 point lead....

Meanwhile in my other bet, the AGGIES - who played exceptionally well in a close 10 pt loss at #25 IOWA - apparently left their mojo at home, as they are being CRUSHED by the mediocre FALCONS.

Likely loss......down 0 - 29   only in mid-2Q an_getaway

Virginia is down 14 - 21 but marching the down the field to tie .....INT in EZ to snuff a sure score.

MD then drives 80 yards for TD.....up 14 now......But I am still within my +17.5 cover....

THEN, on first play after, VA throws another INT....

MD easily scores from the 30......Now up 21 pts over VA

 

THEN,  VA throws their 3rd CONSECUTIVE   INT..... MD gets it at midfield, and they are driving....

and they score their 3rd TD off conssecutive INTs
