Take that soft line and thank me lasted fellas. This game hasn't been decided by more than 14 in 10 years and it won't happen this year. techs offense is rolling and uga struggles against the triple option every year. This will be a tight one boys mark my words.

This UGA grad is leaning towards agreeing strongly with you. If your D was better, I would be in 100% agreement. The practice/prep and play agst GS should help UGA eventhough GS ran for over 300 yds.
  This rivalry is usually very tight.  I do miss Reggie though.....:)

Georgia played Georgia Southern last week, and Georgia Southern runs the option (right?, not 100% sure).  That is a nice advantage in terms of preparation for Georgia.  

Georgia's motivation is also interesting.  Maybe they are looking ahead to Bama, but if they beat Bama, they need to beat Ge Tech to get to the BCS game.  Plus, it is a rivalry game.

Personally, I think Georgia wins by 14 or more (63-38), but I have not been good capping Georgia Tech's games all year.

gatech has been an enigma this yr,

sometimes they look strong in all phases, other times they disappear,

they won't stop georgia, but georgia might struggle against them too because georgia's D is not the greatest,

13 pts seems about right, but if forced i would take georgia tech because of the rivalry angle, look ahead factor, and most importantly, the wild card of the option game,

georgia tech athletes > georgia southern

The issue is Tech's D.  They can't tackle and let WRs run open all day long.  They couldn't even get to Duke's qb.  What do you think Murray is going to do with that secondary?

If this game was at Tech, at night, then the points would be interesting.  But, in Athens, and UGA still playing for something........lay the points.  UGA BIG........and I mean BIG.

GT+13  looks interesting.  If GS ran for over 300 on uga what will tech do ?( this will keep the potent uga offense off the field too).  the look ahead factor is interesting too.

don't even consider the Duke game,

I GUARANTEE the gatech defensive effort will be much stronger against Georgia than any other game this season,

1) rivalry game

2) chance to spoil the rival's national championship hopes,

GaTech +13 or no play

Anyone taking uga -13 is a fool. I have been to every one of these games for the past 6 years and it is always a close game. These schools hate each other more than any others in college football. And now that ga tech is playing in the ACC championship game they have even more to prove. My local gave
me a real nice line (probably because he actually went to uga). I wouldn't bet either side at 13 points though. THWG and all of the sec. Clemson and FSU roll by the way

Tech is worse this year than they were last year.  UGA will take Tech to the woodshed just like they did a few years back when they scored 50 plus.  Remember, UGA still has something to play for here.  Anybody taking the points has stones, big ones.

I like the over (assume mid/upper 60s) more than either side, but laying 2 tds on UGA with Bama on deck does not appear wise.

Yes, Georgia Southern runs the triple option.  Brilliant scheduling on Georgia's part.  Take the Dawgs, lay the points.

1st of all having Bama on deck will have absolutely NOTHING to do with this game as far as lookahead. Its a (one-sided) rivalry game and Georgia knows it means jackcrap if it loses. However the pressure of winning is still going to be there. Georgia's defense has been extremely good from the Fl game on but out of all the top SEC teams their SOS is 46th which is the lowest SOS in the top 15. However they are still are playing great defense and have more playmakers on the defensive side of the ball than anyone in the country. A. Murray has also quietly had his best year ever. Gtech is the typical ACC team they can score against crappy teams and play no defense. NC just hung 50 on them. For me I can't back teams that give up 30 a game and are playing on the road. Georgia has a TON to play for which means I expect them to play at their best. Georgia has the speed on the edges and have shown every year that they can contain Gtech offense. Its either Georgia or pass. Gtech doesnt have any sort of defense to stop Murray and Georgia is not a one dimensional team.

14.5 or more TWICE. Not FIVE. Read the spread fool. And Aaron Murray has had his worst season.. Do y'all even watch football uga football? To Hell With Georgia. You will all see saturday at noon.

UGA has beaten 1 ranked team all season. Also they've only beaten 3 teams with a record bet .500 they are the most overrated team in college football. Yes I go to tech and am biased but the statistics speak for themselves

I am also much more confident this game is going OVER 64.0 than I am about the spread. That is the strongest bet on this game. Should be around 70 honestly
