Letdown city.

Pitt coaching is ridiculous.

Even when he wins, he fucks up the entire game.

They were snapping the ball on the last drive when the clock was running with 15 seconds every time, for about 7 plays.  And the PI calls.  Jeez.

Pitt did everything possible to lose the game, thankfully BJ Daniels wanted to lose it worse.

Most underrated team in the country that lost to Virginia (yes, Virginia) 3 weeks ago, and needed to come from behind late to beat MD at home 2 weeks ago.  OK.  I would say they are rated right where they should be.

Every stat I have favors VT in this one.

Cant be much worse than Harris, but that doesnt mean he is good or will hold up well against his first real aggressive defense.

Just wait and see what the crack (and by crack I mean on crack) coaching staff at Miami comes up with to gameplan against VT.  I expect to hear Shannon with one of his classic quotes at the end of the game, oblivious to why they lost, and in denial to what the real issues are.

Believe me, I know about the speed, I know aobut the talent.  But what you have to realize is that they had the speed and talent against VA, they had it against MD, they had it against OSU, and htey had it against FSU.

The issue with Miami is not recruiting, I believe they have the best talent pool in the country.  The issue is the coaching staff.  Period.  Shannon (and crew) do not put their players in positions to use their talents, and the tactical gameplan and ingame strategy errors are like pee wee stuff.

I do like Miami's green helmets today.

I certainly would be lying if I said I thought that was how the VT / Mia game would go.....

But.....

THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU BET MIAMI.

You get a team that drops passes, makes tactical errors, coaches dont gameplan, takes key penalties, has inopportune turnovers, and always always always always always looks better in the stat sheet than they do on the scoreboard - their YPP is terrible - a sure sign of bad efficiency.

I feel fortunate to win that game, but honestly - Shannon and his staff are not winners.  They need to go.  Miami has more talent on their bench than VT has on the field.
