Gtech D not very good. They don't pass the eye test when it comes to the athletes they have. This will be one of the least athletic secondaries and D's FSU will play.

If their D is no good.. why did they hold all these teams to way less points then FSU?

All of those offenses are pathetic except Miami. We'll see but FSU has been winning me money on teasers all yr long. They just find a way to get it done. This smells like a blowout to me. Motivation is going finally be there for FSU. Winston with a huge game. I like your analysis just don't think now is the time they lose. BOL

Gtech D is statistically worst or at the bottom in almost every category in ACC

Weird but unlike baseball this is football.
" stats can mean a lot and show that, or be completely irrelevant"

Winston is going to get himself in a hole he can't get out of sooner or later

You have selected incomplete stats to make your point. Where the games were played has a lot to do with the final score. Plus, FSU doesn't get excited to play lesser opponents the way GT does - which nullifies any real stats if you did include the other things.

GT just beat Georgia, that's a bigger worry than any of your stats could provide.

Not saying they will. But take your emotions out of it. Just because you don't like FSU doesn't mean they won't win and cover this weekend.

Just looking at the last 3 games for each,FSU has an average score of 24 to 20 ,and GT 34 to 17.

ATS FSU is 3-9 and GT 8-4

FSU's  QB J.W. has thrown for 21 td's and 17 int's .They have rushed for 24 td's.
GT's QB J.T. has thrown for 16 td's and 4 int's.They have rushed for 37 td's

GT better ATS.
GT better TDS / INT ratio.
GT pounds FSU silly in the run game.
I'd take a ground and pound team who can rush for first downs. Kill clock. get a couple turnovers maybe. And it'll be a long long night for Winston and The SEMIN HOLES.

No Smelter. Tough call. Not a fan of fading Winston, he just wins every game. FSU is the most resilient team I've seen in a long time. I feel Gtech will give up a ton of yards thru the air. Think Winston has a field day. That being said, FSUs defense is susceptible to the run, triple option always tricky. I don't see FSU losing the game but it would surprise me to see them win but not cover he points. Line looks low. I'm rooting for Gtech, but can't fade Winston here. Maybe Gtech first H FSU 2nd? GL

That's a possibility. I'm not calling this a lock or nothing rediculous cause Winston does it over and over.. But he's only one man. And I feel this line will go towards FSU more and more. Got +3.5 willing to bet more as the line climbs.

Watching Winston this past week reminded me of when I played .500 back in 3rd grade. My classmates could catch 12/24 also.

I am an avid Fsu fan and have been for 30 years!! I see GT beating them as well.. I am taking the points as I just locked in my plays for the week and GT +4 looks too good to pass up..  I will be rooting for the Noles pretty hard, so no ML play for me, but I think that's worth a play. I think that time has come for the Noles .. But we will see.. GL

The common opponent aspect of it doesn't really matter a lot to me. This is for the Acc Championship, so really looking at what each team did  to the other teams is meaningless for the most part.. IMO

I think GT is playing real well right now and Fsu isn't.. It's hard winning week after week after week after week etc..

I think a HUGE factor is going to be turnovers.
FSU has been able to overcome A LOT of Jameis winston turnovers.
GT really limits the amount of possessions in the game with their option offense. I don't know if FSU will be able to overcome 3 Winston INTs vs GT.

gtech is a good football team explosive offense....def is a question mark...Duke put a number on them...I think florida state for once will play a complete 4 quarter game....to many athletes plus the spread is only 3.....I am takeing a medium bet on fsu....

Can't evenly look at the 2 Clemson games.  

FSU was a nationally televised night game in which both defenses played extremely well.
GT got 14 points off 2 pick-6's from Stoudt, who managed less yards in 3+ quarters than Watson did before he was hurt on 2 drives.  

This game will be just like last year with Duke in the ACC championship.  Slow start with FSU dominating by the end.

Out of your mind to take GT.. Maybe 10 points but not 3..

This team is destined.. They were behind in most of their games and found a way to win.. Winston had so many multiple interception games.. fell behind but as team found a way to win.. 

I cannot believe they came back to beat Louisville on the road..


Actually its best to wait till the second half as likely FSU will be trailing and pop a play then..

This is be a low scoring game, so that does not help FSU....take GT!
