I have to keep the write-ups short because I have too much going on this in the Penalty Box at the moment.
With UGA, you get the following:
#1 MASSIVE Revenge
Remember last year's 43 yard Haily Mary by Tennessee to beat UGA 34-31. That gets paid back here.
#2 The best UGA team since 2012
After watching them crush Miss St. this team is for real, on BOTH sides of the ball. And 2012 was the year UGA came an 8 yard pass from beating Bama (a team they can definitely beat this year as well).
#3 Tennessee is a dumpster fire.
I know Umass. They cannot tackle. They cannot move the ball. They barely score, having lost to Coastal Carolina, the newest FBS team this year.
And worst of all, UMass hung fough with the Volunteers in Tennessee down 4 and driving late even after they lost their best player, starting QB Andrew Ford. A backup who handed the ball off the rest of the game kept them in it.
On Tennessee's side of the ball, Davis was so upset with the lack of offense he brought in a redshirt Freshman, Jarrett Guarantano. He promptly came in and passed for -4 yards.
This is on top of all the pressure Davis is feeling from the fan base because they all know this record is smoke and mirrors.
Give me a wildly dominant UGA teams with juice on the 7 at -125.
GEORGIA -7 over Tennessee (this week)
Also taking;
Wisconsin -10 over Nebraska on October 7th.
I also have:
Rutgers +30.5 over Ohio State
in another thread posted weeks ago.

Leave the guy alone ; At least he's on here trying. With the vast knowledge he shows combined with his record, it should illustrate the fact of how hard it is to cap and win games. Give the guy a break as he brings more to this forum than 99% of other posters (myself included).

I'm on Georgia as well, seems like just about that time of year where everyone realizes how overrated Tennessee is, it's basically a tradition at this point.
Let's get another W Scal

This is a bad spot for ga. TN has been prepping for 2 weeks, uga off an emotional night dominant performance at home now traveling.
If smart keeps the kids focused and they play with the effort and intensity of last week then 7 will be no problem.
Another key is Eason ripped with the Twos on Monday, this will inevitably put some pressure on Fromm to perform. Maybe it makes him better, maybe no effect but there is a lot in play then just a struggling TN team and a rolling ga team.
Expect TN best performance of the yr Sat but if Ga plays max potential it won't matter.
Best of Luck

Big UGA fan.
Follow the program very closely.

Good point Bmarlin! I forgot about Eason breathing down the neck of Fromm. Personally I think they should stick with Fromm and let Eason Transfer. I also live in Ga and even though i'm a Notre Dame fan i do follow UGA closely by default. '
Needless to say its a must win for Butch Jones. Not to mention next week Tennessee is on a bye. Im sure the players, coaches and fans dont want 2 weeks with their program in limbo off a loss.

Martin there is one problem with your analysis: you clearly haven't watched Tennessee this year. And prepped for two weeks? They BARELY got by Umass last week with a backup QB!

This is a multiple year revenge game for GA. They had UT beat two years ago as well. Gave up 14 points in the final 30 seconds of the first half allowing the Vols to hang. I really think Tennessee is a bad football team, but they will come to play will it matter probably not. You can guarantee a Checker Neyland game will always be a tough environment though. Pretty much all in on the season with this one for the Vols. I think they hang around until about halftime and then the flood gates open. Kelly won't be able to run on this defense and that's the whole team. Bye Bye Butch.

scal, you see the Butch Jones press conference? He may be covering up an alleged fight between players in the locker room and he basically told the media they should start being nicer to the program. It's a mess right now.

Im smack in the middle of SEC region . Won with Tn at Fl and Fl at KU . Won with Georgia at ND and missed with Miss St. at Georgia .
The play calling of Vol offense is offensive . I bought to 7 yesterday and am laying on Georgia pretty hard .
Vol defense is tuff were gonna have to hope the Offensive woes continue . 7 otr in the SEC should be taken seriously . I believe in destiny also believe coaching or great individual play [ ie: a Cam Newton type ] has a great deal to do with it . Kirby smart gets it done . Georgia is the undisputed king of the east and will meet Bama or Auburn in Atlanta .

Dormady has 6 TD's with 4 INT's. Larry Scott's last time being an offense coordinator was against an offensive team. Not only do the Vols have way less talent than last year, they also don't have their OC who led the Vols to have the most TD's in the SEC last season.
My question is -
I wonder if Larry is focusing more on Dormady and the receivers actually completing the ball this week or working something up with Kelly (since the O-line obviously didn't show anything last week against UMass)?
Would love an answer. Thanks

Not sure I would fade Butch Jones with his back against the wall like it is...a win over Georgia would relieve a ton of pressure on him and his program so I think he will have his Vols ready. Should be a good game. Regardless, BOL on your play Scal!

Tennessee is not as bad as everyone is thinking. They beat a good GT team (yes I know GT dominated the game and lost b/c of a kicker) but they still won the game. Then they hung in with Florida. Yes I know Florida is not great but it was still on the road. I put absolutely ZERO stock in the game against Umass. A game they did not care about.
Now, UGA coming off a dominant win against a team that frankly probably isnt that good in Miss St. Lets face it, it's Miss St. Not a good football program. That is a team UGA SHOULD dominate. They have better players.
This will be a ballgame on Saturday. The public is pounding UGA. Everything lines up for them to roll. But "that's why they play the games".

@Prentice: You put zero stock in the game at Umass. Oh really
Well that's EXACTLY what someone would HAVE to do if they are taking Tennessee this week to clear their conscience.
Because in that Umass game (which you apparently did not watch), the starting QB Dormandy was struggling so bad he was pulled for Jarrett Guarantano who passed for, wait for it, -3 yards.
Dormandy came back in and did not put up one drive of relevance.
Now Umass is an awful team, but worse, their star Andrew Ford was knocked out and replaced by Ross Comis who kept Umass in the game with some QB option plays and what is usually a putrid run game.
Now this is IN TENNESSEE. And they almost blew it near the end as Umass was driving for the win.
And here comes, and I can't stress this enough, the best UGA team I've seen since 2012. I will guarantee you the fan base is shi**ing their pants right now at this match-up.
And add in BWS's point above above the locker room turmoil which is conjecture but not outrageous in the least.
And for all this, this unremarkable Tennessee team, you want Tenn +7 and you think there is value in this because fans will be color-coded throughout the stands...????
(In previous years, Vol fans have checkered the stadium for the 2016 Tennessee vs Florida game, the 2015 Tennessee vs. Oklahoma game and the 2014 Tennessee vs. Florida game.
Tennessee won its 2016 game against Florida and lost the other two games where fans participated in "Checker Neyland.")
