notre dame has faced several "must win" games the last few years but never seem to come through, and i don't think that changes even with the new coach.  stanford is well balanced and should win easily.

Stanford hasn't played a "good" offense yet, and hasn't left the state of California yet. I'm hoping to get ND +5.5 or ND +6, as the line is now ND +5.  I think PAC-10 teams are so unpredicatable.

It's up to 5 now -115.

Harbaugh loves to pile on the points & he won't call off the dogs Saturday. This will get ugly & Andrew Luck will open some eyes on national TV.

This game can easily reach 6.5 by Saturday morning.

Something else to think about....

Stanford has been in the Red Zone 19 times so far this year & have scored 16 TD's & 3 FG's. They go for the jugular & don't make mistakes.

Stanford is for real, people. They're winning the Pac-10 this year, mark my words. They dominate at the line of scrimmage on both sides, have a fantastic QB who makes good decisions, and is probably one of the best coached teams in the country.

Stanford all the way to the bank.

first of all, i don't know anyone who punts in overtime. secondly, you don't know that ND would be favored.

Helluva 1st post, empire.

The key point in your post is:  "if the game is close".  And if it is close, sure - ND could pull out the victory.  But, do you really think it's going to be close?  Harbaugh has a good squad - phenomenal red-zone efficiency, likes to put up those style points - and has no regrets about it.  The Irish have one thing going for them - they're playing in South Bend - and that (in my opinion) doesn't register staying within 4 points, let alone pulling in a moneyline win.

GL, though.

Not sure, but typically, ND backers,  drunken Irishmen , and" little green men" lovers come out in droves on game day.  Waiting  until kick off and think this line comes back to where it started.  Maybe the guys that set the line knew that this was going to happen.  Moving it up during the week didn't seem to get anyone off the Cardinal.  Year after year all the fair weather gamblers lay their money on the Irish, late, game day.  Public perception, for a team that's a shadow of the past.  BOL ND backers.
