Should've chimed in earlier.  I took UCF and the under.  By the time I got to Stations the O/L was 43 and ML was +100...

this was a very confusing line move, but a significant one.
I thought the same way that the original poster of this thread did.
I put a lot down on BYU as well.
I am putting more on the 2nd half.

I hope that we weren't suckered by vegas, but I think we will win.

what is so confusing on there is more money on cfu  vegas makes bad lines...they lose ALL the time.. they just win in the end. people overthink everything..which is a part why they win in the end i guess

You don't know how to read line movement, you don't need to be trying to bet using it.

Hahaha which sportsbook is it that mails out whatever you line movement freakazoids are on?  Just watch the football game lmao it belongs to UCF.

Way to screw up everyone's psyche with the BYU hoopla riding along with my UCF+2 for the game.  Already padded the account with +1 for the half...and BYU will remain inept offensively, completing my under 23.5 team total.

That's how money is made!

I am far from a line movement freak. But we are all entitled to our opinion. I have many to, so I am not knocking your comment.

But...

Paying attention to a line is very important and is just one of many tools that I utilize/pay attention to when I am capping a game.

i dont disagree matt, i look at line movement also..just dont see why this one was confusing..there was no buy back...just more money on ucf...gl this weekend

It was confusing (based off the line) because I thought that the money and public was on BYU, yet the line was dropping...so I was thinking of RLM and that the play was UCF.

But, the more that I looked into just the line, the play was BYU.

So, after capping the game and utilizing the line movement. I put my money on BYU.

Good luck this weekend as well!!!

UCF was the right play, BYU only got luck as fuck with every bounce and turnover and UCF's QB gettin hurt for a stretch of the game.

Great call BYU 2nd half backers!  I would have sour-er grapes but I abandoned ship and went nuts, threw the house on BYU moneyline -550 when it was apparent they had the momentum to finish it...I about $hit when UCF bombed it down into scoring territory LMAO

Net loss on the day from this game but the last minute house-throwing softened the blow, should've stuck with the 1st half (or listened to you guys!)  Florida teams always screw me one way or another because they know I hate their state, having grown up in that hell hole.  Miserable swampy bug infested place.

lol i love when people say shit like this. My bet was the right pick it just didnt win? Everyone trying to key in on the line movement but 80 percent of the m/l money was on ucf so they lowered the spread to try and balance out the money. Plus give them a shot at winning both if byu had won by one. They still completely cleaned up on all the ml ucf bets.
