Game is in two days..still alot of time for weather changes.Think back when alot of people (myself included) pounded the BC/FSU under because of hurricane noel...game went over.

Vegas: Yes I remember the BC game. It was never a "weather factor" post here from me because of too many unknowns with Noel's track and the relatively low total already.

You can rest assured the total on this game will be below 80 before kickoff.

Fader: I checked to make sure the game wasn't being played at Reliant Stadium (dome) It isnt. The only issue that should delay the game would be isolated lightning (which is possible). The bulk of the rain should be showers without thunder though due to temp being in the 50s.

I was at the Memphis/Ark. St. game earlier this year. Waited 3 hrs. &amp; the refs posponed the game. Game was rescheduled for a Thursday night &amp; all bets were off. Just a bit of useless trivia.&#xD;&#xA;GL 2 All

Aloha Weathersharp...nice heads up on the weather on this game. Got my "under" at 82. It looks to be 70% chance of heavy rain/storms at game time and will be a running battle which equals "under".  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;A plus from mother nature when looking for these "edges".&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Aloha and GL!

WELL I HOPE THIS TIME IT RAINS NOT LIKE LAST WEEK IN THE WASHINGTON/CAL  GAME,  ALL THE RAIN WAS BEFORE THE GAME, AND THEN IT STOPPED WHEN THE GAME WAS STARTING AND THEY PUT UP 48 POINTS IN THE FIRST HALF, THE GAME WENT OVER BY TWO FRIGGIN POINTS, THE GAME WAS ON CARPET, AND THIS GAME AT RICE IS ON CARPET, IF IT DOES RAIN A LOT HOPEFULLY IT WILL SLOW THEM DOWN A LITTLE SO WE CAN STAY UNDER 84

I did this independently, taking Under 83.5 looking for the middle. I had an idea what this was about before I even opened the thread. BTW, 84 is the highest opening total I've ever seen in my life (correct me if I'm wrong).

So how are we looking now, sharp? Line isn't moving all that much, but it could come late. I can tell you from experience, weeknight games are the big movers. A lot of Saturday games get lost in the shuffle.....
