Nevada had difficulty most of the game with Boise's defense. Most teams are fortunate to reach 20+ points on Boise. If I am considering that Coach Petersen has difficulty motivating his players (ie, coaching), then I am passing up the game entirely for even entertaining such an imbecile thought.
They are glad to have a well coached team from the west, a team headed for the PAC10, and prefer this game over a Big East opponent that has little future value.
This will likely be a continuing rivalry for both teams, and has implications for the future.

Yes Boise had their bubble burst by loosing to Nevada, however The player respond to Chris Peterson, I really dont think there will be that big letdown by not playing in a BCS bowl.
I am well aware of Utah's previous success in bowl games, Kellen Moore was talking about in 3 different interviews I heard him give on Dan Patrick Radio, ESPN Radio, etc...They are aware of Utah's previous Bowl records.
However Utah is not a good football team and could easily get beaten by 3 tds or more here. Boise is a great team, cause their Defense is that much better this year. Yes they got wore down in Nevada, but Utah is Nevada.
