Dawkins had wheels. He also was able to make some big gains on broken plays. Arizona plays more back yard style football which leads to a lot of weird plays. Stanford plays more conventional football of lining up and trying to play smash mouth football. I've watched everyone in this conference at least twice so far. Ryan Burns is the worst throwing QB in the conference. It could be a combination of having average targets this year, but the guy throws so many just horrible balls. In all 3 games I've watched him I've come away highly unimpressed. But I will say the kid is tough as nails. He runs hard and takes defenders head on. Stanford will be playing this game with Owasu who was cowardly targeted in the UCLA game, the fullback is out and 2 starting CB's as well. I lean Washington here as well. Stanford comes in a little beat up, it's a tough spot for them.
Thank you for a very good post. If I was going to play this game I most certainly would strongly reconsider if I was leaning towards Stanford based on your post above!
