 The clock operator thought he missed the extra point to go up 17. Had it at 16, so UTEP went for 2, thinking they were only down 10 when they were really down 11. They immediately added the extra point to NT after utep converted the 2 pt conversion. Shady to say the least

 Absolutely. They both are. But had side and the Over. I think most of us would love to be sitting at 45 28 with 5 min left on Bama or a NTex. Dont matter how bad they are. No team is so bad that a team has went for 2 to make it a 9 point lead instead of 10! Rediculous and super obvious

I had UNT -9.5 as well.  I was actually happy when UTEP scored that last TD, otherwise I would put my head through the wall.  Just before the snap on the two-point conversion, you could hear someone on the sideline yelling "we have 45 points!", but they snapped the ball anyway.

 The clock operator explanation cant really be for real. Or can it? Haven't seen any of it at all. I woukd just love to hear UTEPs coach response to going for 2 there. But I hardly think there will be any kind of post game questions to the battle of the doucheballs. Just blaming myself for picking the gane period. I will say this.....the 2 pnt conversion  was outta the park shady. But down 9 they did score and shouldve just ran out clock. Risked a Turnover for a td. Thats the only thing that makes sense to me. Unless........NTex had a hand in it anf there was no threat to a Turnover for a score.
