The strategy is good but people take it personal. The idea is that with Vegas setting the line to attract money and the whole too good to be true scenario. When everyone is seeing the same thing and the line is not moving much you gotta step back and try to see the missing link. It does not always pan out but does more often than not. Think of it this way with your ego to the side and knowing most lose more than they win ask yourself if everyone on this forum is hammering a team but the line is still stagnant what about this game is off.

Ifan.. make up your mind. 1 day you are asking for advice on how to bet and such. Then you make supposedly expert comments..like bet the opposite. If you are new own it. Its quite alright.
If I remember correctly you were buying points on every game you bet. I've been betting for 20 years and I'm still learning. So not an insult on you.
