It took me a long time to break down this game. But the one thing that just kept making me say Cherokee Trail is QB/DB Thomas SIngleton. He is only 5 '`10 but is explosive on both sides of the ball. I also expect this game to be very quick in the fact that I see both teams running the ball heavily. Mullen is a power house footbal team, but points have been at a premium for this year so far. So I say Cherokee Trail +24.

Okay I admit the past couple weeks, I should have put more capping into these games. So I got back to it.
Lake Oswego (OR) - 9 1/2
Lake Oswego comes in ranked #106 showed some real power last weak knocking off one of the Washington state powers in Skyline. Lake Oswego will be lead by RB Steven Long, Long had a monstorous game last week against Skyline, I look for him to do it again. Two weeks ago Sheldon who is a top #100 team beat Jesuit by 15 but really it should of been more than that being that Sheldon started the game off by going up 35-0.

This Colerain defense is very good. Both of these teams love to run the ball and both. I see this one as a low scoring old school grind it out football game.

I am taking Pearland in this one mainly because they are coming off of a loss. Two weeks ago Pearland suffered a shocking upset to Memorial (TX) 17-14. So coming into this the Oilers from Pearland will be looking to put an ass kicking on their opponent.

Mullen on national tv for a second straight week. Well going against them agian this week. I believe that this game will be another low scoring game with Mullen running the ball and Cherry Creek is lead by Junior QB Luke Papilion, who at 6'5 covers some ground with his feet real quick. Not dsaying the Cherry Creek will win the game but I believe they can keep it within 3 TD's.

That late td just sunk our ship. Very close game Middletown had had chances to win the game they were driving early in the 4th and then a fall start and holding penalty buried the drive. Had Colerain pinned on the 2 and colerain drove 98 yards to put them up by 8. AAAHHHH this game looked so good, I really thought that we were going to sweep the board tonight with this one. thats why they call it gambling I guess.
Well off to tommorow, cant dwell on this one.

tell me what you think about De La Salle vs St. Thomas
I think this can be a high scoring affair, with St. Thomas winning
This is a very good game, with two of the best programs in the country in it. Thats why im staying away. Everything on paper says St. Thomas Aquinas, but come on its De La Salle, and I just cant get myself to bet against them. LOL Last year I thought that Servite would give the spartans a good game in the CIF State Title game ,but that was a blowout.
De La Salle has always been able to beat the oppenents by being more discipline and excellent line play with the undersize boys. Man St. Thomas Aquinas has shown this year that they are just as discipline. I saw the game to start the year against Prattville (AL), and the looked very good as well.
Reguarding the O/U , both teams will try to run the ball so the clock should run. But with so many athletes on Aquinas, big plays are just one block away. WIth De La Salle, their discipline and smart O-Line play is always a threat. Like I said earlier, last year I thought that the undersized De La Salle line would not be able to move the Servite D, But they ran circles around them. Very Small Lean, St Thomas Aquinas and the Under.
But I got my money on the other games. Im just going to sit back and enjoy what I think is an awesome High School Football Game. True battle of East vs West.

Yes, I know this is a horrible line, considering the line opened at De La Salle -3 but after looking at this game I know why St. Thomas Aquinas has been getting pounded this entire week. The St. Thomas Aquinas front on D is really good and I think that they will cause havic for the De La Salle offense.
