I think South Carolina matches up well against Georgia. SC is 3-0 ATS at home and they score alot of points at home this year. Georgia has the offensive edge but SC has them in yards allowed and time of possession. I like SC -2.5 and TTU +4 Tech has almost every advantage in against OU this weekend.

It's a hell of a time. U gotta experience it for sure. East 6th(dirty 6th) is the college scene. Lots of drunk "tough" college kids that like to blackout. West 6th is a more laid back atmosphere but some very good bars. Either way, it is enjoyable and something u have to experience once. And after a big W(if it happens) Saturday night it will be rockin on 6th.
I was down on 6th few years ago the night before the A&M game. Talk about insanity

POTVIN - Yes indeed really like LSU. Hope you had a good week bud. Any chance we get some NHL this year? And yea man so many douchebags on this site it's depressing. Talking shit for no reason gets me a little frustrated sometimes. Good luck this week Potvin
RR - I haven't had much time to watch any SC games but isn't their offense pretty one dimensional with the running game? Seems like maybe these teams are pretty evenly matched and the only reason I think SC is favored here is because this game is at home for them.

I wouldn't put too much weight into the UGA/UT game. Though UGA was bringing back 2 starters, you have to remember this was their tune-up game since they haven't played all season. I think injecting Rambo and Ogletree threw off the chemistry of the defense a little. Don't forget too that UT scored 2 TDs off of UGA turnovers within the redzone and had another TD after starting at midfield due to UGA stepping out of bounds at their own 1 during a return. I think UGA was caught looking ahead and let's not forget that UT has a great offense.
I really like UGA in this spot. There is a major revenge factor as UGA basically handed USC the game in Athens last season and lost in heartbreaking fashion. USC scored off a fake punt, pick 6, and a fumble returned for a TD.
Don't forget UGA put up 42 points on this defense and UGA is much improved this year. Aaron Murray is playing amazing football and the freshman duo of Gurley and Marshall are exceeding all expectations. I know it may sound like a lofty claim, but Gurley reminds me of a taller Trent Richardson. You simply can't arm tackle him, he usually makes the first man miss which means he almost never loses yards, and he always keeps his legs driving to get more yards after contact. My one fear is the UGA OL vs the USC DL. UGA's OL is young, but it's much to their advantage to be playing this game after having a few games to gain some chemistry. I think UGA's offense is way too balanced of an attack for USC to stop.
On the other side of the ball, USC has regressed a slight bit. The loss of Alshon Jefferey is big. I don't think USC has the playmakers in the passing game to keep up. I think this game will be predicated on Marcus Lattimore obviously. He has owned UGA, but I think UGA is an amazing defense regardless of what they've shown so far. The biggest thing for me is how Marcus Lattimore seems to wear teams down. He may have a slow 1st half, but he eventually beats the defense up enough to start breaking runs in the 2nd half. This where UGA has a huge advantage. Their defense is incredibly deep in their Front 7. Due to the suspensions, many players have had time to step in and gain experience. ILB Amarlo Herrera is only a sophomore, but he already has about 8 starts under his belt due to Ogletree's suspension and injury last season. Ramik Wilson and Jordan Jenkins provide LB depth as well. UGA also has 2 or 3 guys who rotate into the NG spot and another 4+ at the DE spot. For this reason, I don't see Lattimore having that huge of a day.
And finally, don't forget that last season starting ILB Ogletree was out against USC due to injury. Ogletree is rated as the #20 player in the country by Todd McShay. His back-up was Amarlo Herrera who made his first start as a true freshman with nobody behind him but other freshman.

1) USC has not shown that they can lock down the pass. This secondary is questionable. UGA has a very underrated receiving core. They may not have track speed, but they are crafty, run good routes, and have great hands. Aaron Murray is also playing lights out so I see the Bulldogs having a fair amount of success through the air.
2) USC's OL is questionable. They have 3 new starters, including both tackles. They are starting a RS-FR at LT and a SO at RT. UGA has Jarvis Jones, who may be the top pass rusher in the country. He is rated as the #1 player on McShay and Kiper's big boards. This is a huge mismatch.

Yes Jones is a beast. I honestly think Georgia should have won the SEC championship game last year. I had LSU but they were outmatched all game until The Honeybadger ran that kickoff back to start the 2H. With that said I think Georgia is even better this year. Aaron Murray is a great QB and that defense is stingy

SC is a tough place to play, Spurrier has beaten teams in these type of situations. I think Georgia is in for a dogfight, they would have to win a 10-12 low scoring type of game.

2muchjohnson - your D soft against MTSU and the players were out of position...that los by 3 TD's as a 24 pt favorite was just inexcusable. GT has indeed defeated clemson 4 out of the last 5 years, but I think this year, Clemson is going to destroy GT...what i saw against MTSU last Sat, GT is a soft team...

Yeah man I really like Manny Diaz. He has a great history of shutting down the pass, and Texas has a lot of talent in the secondary. I've watched a couple of Baylor games this season, and I can safely say their defense is the worst in CFB. In the WVU game, it wasn't like Geno Smith was making amazing throws. The WVU receivers were literally running wide-open down the field and I don't see Texas allowing this to happen. Texas could easily put up 55 points and I see WVU being held to 38 tops.

I do not like Landry Jones. He was terrible against UTEP and in the loss to K St. Last year he hurt me when they got upset so many times. Big Game Bob is crap these days.

I have to agree with cajun. I don't think the risk/reward is there yet to bet on Arkansas. They are a dumpster fire, and have so many distractions. Auburn doesn't have a good offense, but Arkansas's defense is miserable. They just don't have the personell. Somebody stated on here earlier that they are so thin at LB they had to move their best DE to LB which killed their pass rush. Auburn's defense is pretty good and I don't see Arkansas putting up that many points on the road.

WV offense is firing on all cylinders. The Texas D isn't as good as u guys think it is. They struggle against speed. They have given up over 30 points in each of the last 2 games against teams that aren't close to as efficient as WV on offense. Geno is the #1 QB in the nation. Bailey and Austin can run away from that secondary. Yes WV D is terrible and it should be a shootout.
Why do you think WV scheduled how they did? Get that Offense off to a great start and firing on all cylinders heading into their first road game in the Big 12 against a supposed solid D(it's alright, nothing special). They set themselves up to be very confident heading into this game. I see this being a close game and coming down to a late stop if anyone can get it.
Prediction: Texas 40 WV 44
