Actually disagree with this one too:

8 pts  (get to 10 so a TD and FG dont beat you. 9 pt lead useless)


You wouldnt last too long as coach going for 2 up 8, not getting 2,  then the other team drives down scores a TD and  gets the 2 point conversion and going to OT, instead of making it 9 to eliminate that.

It very easily could have. I had Cincy 2nd half at pick. If they had allowed Memphis to go down the field and score a seemingly meaningless TD by playing the "prevent" defense. It would have cost me the second half play and I was on them large! So besides being a poor coaching decision, it could have very adversely affected my play!
