I earned my undergrad from The University of Texas at Austin and MBA from Indiana University...I attended both Rose Bowl victories by Texas over Michigan and USC, respectively...Good Times!

First game I ever saw was Clemson vs. Auburn with Heisman-winner Pat Sullivan at QB in 1970. I remember I sat on the South side of the stadium for some reason, but most of my early memories are of the woman behind our normal seats yelling, "Run it, Pengitore!" Kenny Pengitore was Clemson's QB from 1971 to '73, and I guess the OL wasn't too good.
Saw Clemson beat UGA in '74, the first time they played after the ACC ended the 800 Rule (which imposed a major recruiting disadvantage on ACC schools who couldn't sign a player with an SAT under 800).
Saw Clemson beat GT in '74, which was the first time Tech ever played in Clemson after decades of games in Atlanta.
In 1976, saw Vinnie Fusco of Duke kick his 6th FG of the game from 57 yards out as time expired to tie the game at 18-18. Clemson had a 6'5" receiver (who also started on the basketball team) standing right there as the ball hit the crossbar and bounced over. I'm still not clear on whether it would have been legal for him to jump and goaltend the ball.
Saw the '77 Notre Dame game with Joe Montana that resulted in the NCAA implementing rules to address crowd noise.
Saw Clemson force 9 turnovers and hand Herschel Walker his only regular-season loss ever in 1981, Clemson's national championship season.
Saw the officials steal about 17 points from Clemson to keep Florida State in the game before the Puntrooski gave FSU the win in 1988.
